This is true. :slap Sad thing is, I should've known this. I was digging through the garage a year ago and found the old 12" doll from Kenner, and gave it to my son (he's 3). :lol

When I watched the Blu Ray a few years ago, I appreciated how much like a big-budget, modern-day Adam West movie it really is. I wonder why they didn't go all out and keep the cowl, gloves, cape, etc. that color, but make the suit gray (or silver, in Schumacher World.)

One really has to wonder. It's somewhat enjoyable as a live-action interpretation of the Silver Age comics, and given the cast involved, it should've been a great film. Unfortunately, what it was following (as far as the franchise), and with the ADD script, it was doomed from day 1.

The best scene is with Freeze dancing to the Snow miser song telling his henchmen to sing with that cigar hanging from his mouth.

I could easily see that in the 60s show with some a couple of henchmen (Thug #1, #2, etc.) and maybe a hot 60s model playing a moll (not Vivica Fox :lol).

For me, Arnold makes that movie. The rest? Ehhh.

Nope. I stopped caring about anything MOS 2 related the minute WB decided Superman can't handle a movie on his own and shoehorned Batman in.

That's like saying you hate smores because Nestle shoehorned chocolate in since they didn't think marshmallows could handle it on their own.

I think it's more that they desperately need to get their shared universe off the ground than any fear that Superman can't handle a movie on his own.

Oh, and they've been "shoehorning" Batman and Superman together since 1941. This movie is looooong overdue.

Well, he did manage to get away without frozen ice nipples on his costume. So I guess he was the big winner?

From the article:

A piece of art is hitting all the online forums that reveals Ben Affleck as Batman in the form of Steve Scott comic book art.

No idea if it's all related, but Steve Scott did work directly with Chris Nolan on the comic book for The Dark Knight!

Pretty cool!

Following the comic image you can see what looks to be the inspiration.

I like that it follows TDK's inspiration for the Bat-symbol. If there's anything that TDK trilogy did that shoud be carried forward into other iterations, that's it.

I enjoyed the camp that Forever has, but B&R camped it up too far.

It's Superman and Batman in the same movie. What is there not to like???

If anything, the sigil looks more inspired by the Batman Beyond bat than anything from the Nolanverse.

Bat ears need to be raised.

Indeed, long ears for the win. Batman should look like a demon, not like a man.

he is just going to end up looking like Nite Owl if they lower the ears like that :slap
