I think it will be his best performance since "License to Kill." He needs to make another Bond movie...

C'mon, you can't be serious.

You really don't think any of his post-LTK performances are better? I'm a huge Bond fan too but Jesus Christ.

On one hand his performance as a Bond henchman he doesn't even stand out (he's no Odd Job) and on the other hand he's a two-time Academy Award-nominee/one-time winner. His performance in LTK is like his performance in "Big Top Pee-wee", it's an obscure footnote in both his career and in the series in question.

I do love his delivery of the line "we gave her a nice... honeymooooooooon" though.

Poor Romanek.

First "A Cold Case" goes nowhere. More like "A Cold Production". Secondly all that "A Million Little Pieces" controversy breaks like a day after he's attached to the film version and kills it dead in its tracks, now he's off "The Wolfman".

He's a brilliant director and I can't wait to see his next movie but that seems frustratingly impossible.

And people say Terry Gilliam has bad luck on his films.

Hmm. Benecio del Toro as the 2008 Universal Wolfman...

Well, it's not like they're going to make him a yellow camaro instead of a yellow volkswagon...

and as long as he growls, and does NOT go "*snarf snarf* I'll get you, Mumm-Ra *snarf snarf*"....

wait til trailers.

New director:

Universal Pictures has set Joe Johnston (Hidalgo, Jurassic Park III) to replace Mark Romanek as director of The Wolfman, keeping the $100 million thriller on course to begin production in London in March.

(The man who designed Boba Fett's armor and directed The Rocketeer gets a little respect from me, by the way.)
