It looks like they really DID retailor the entire outfit. :chew Let the complaints begin!

Hell! This thing looks great...much better IMO, though tightening up the outfit and raising the bottom of the jacket makes the arms appear long.

The outfit itself though is looking 100% better.

It really does look like a re-tailer. Those pockets seem MUCH better. I wonder if its an optical illusion, or if SSC really does rock this hard.

You know, now that we have these pictures, I'm thinking the whole "flip up the collar" deal was another ball breaking from Sideshow like the April Fools bit, well done, well done.

I thought it looked great before, but this really sends it over the top, THANKS SIDESHOW, JUST FRICKIN GREAT, as if I weren't going nuts about a Palpatine Pack I haven't even seen yet and Old Ben, now you make the want for this figure more than before, you're killing me.

Yeah, if only the hands were more in scale.

But this version is hands-down immensely better than the version shown during the PPO. The skin tones are better, the tailoring is terrific...it looks fantastic!!

As for the hands, perhaps we'll get properly scaled hands with the coming of the new SSC/HT body.

Re-tailored or re-futzed, the outfit looks great. I was fine with it before, but now it's looking dangerously close to HT/Medicom quality.

Actually, I'd say you're wrong. Pissing and moaning gets your balls broken ala "flip the collar up" tip. Constructive criticism can achieve change.

And I'm very happy to see the changes that have gone into this all-important Bespin Luke. The collar -- now obviously changed -- and the adjusted pocket size seems to have really improved this figure.

Dittos, all he needs now is a repaint, some DarkArtist outfit weathering and a Hurricane cathode sabre and he'll be a keeper.

Based on what we had asked for in terms of "fixes", and what we got, Sideshow not only nailed this one, they went several extra miles to make this thing awesome.

Heres a comparison of the new pic from Sideshow (on the left) and what we had suggested a couple of weeks back (on the right). The only thing I can see that we "lost" is the curve on the bottom of the pockets. But given the scale, that's a trivial detail to live without, and it would be nearly impossible to mass produce.

Thank you Sideshow for really stepping up on this one. This is probably the one figure I've really always wanted. I can't wait to get this. I've got two on order so I'm thrilled with all the changes for the better.
