BEST 1/6 of 2008

Bank Robber Joker. Homerun on HT's part for making a version of him I never thought I'd see outside of a custom job. Plus, they were smart enough to include a better sculpt to correct the crappiness of the first.

too many good ones to decide upon. this has to be the best year for 1/6 for me. hobbits, gandalf, TDK, Pirates, Clonobi. cant decide. but i'd have to pick the original suited batman cuz i really wanted a decent batman from Batman Begins but none of the releases at that time appealed to me. the new version is a great substitute for representing batman from batman begins which is a very nice film indeed.

There were definitely a lot of great figures last year... but I think I have to go with Dallas. HT doing ALIEN figures has been a dream come true for me. Now let's have the next announcement in the line.

HT version 1 joker. This was THE figure that I saw generate the most buzz. BR joker sculpt looks better, but V1 was THE figure of 2008

1) HT Bank Robber Joker (a jaw-droppingly stunning sculpt)
2) SSC Indiana Jones (the best capturing of Harrison Ford in 1/6 from-- and that's an amazing feat)
3) SSC Gandalf the Grey (shame this is the swan song for a line that should have gone on for far longer)

I think (out of what I have recieved so far) Gandalf does stand out the most to me. Except for the crap body (which is well covered) he's perfection.

But I agree with the other top picks as well... 2008 was a great year for 1/6 collectors. But already 2009 is about to kick major ass:

Agree,For me Cannibal is HT`s best figure this year,along with Batman Begins Suit TDK.

But as a favourite its Rocky 3 for me.
