I really thought the two of them were goners.

If Tuco had been hyped up on meth, they would have been dead. He was really laid back considering what will eventually happen in Breaking Bad. :lol

He gets it from his abuelita.

you know... it makes me wonder if the future death of the abuelita is just one of the reasons he goes crazy (she is never mentioned or shows up on BB, so it is a possibility)

He had also just got out of jail in BB, remember?

All in all, I wouldn't call murdering 3 people for 1 calling your grandma a naughty word a cool customer, but yea, in the negotiating I guess, a little.

I know Dean Norris said he isn't interested, but as Saul gets more known in the next couple of years and ultimately works with drug dealers/users, he'll have to have a run in with Hank some time before Breaking Bad right?

I'd love to see Hank and Gus, in addition to WW and Jesse, each make a brief, limited appearance at some point in the show's run. So long as it makes sense in the telling of the story and it's not done as a cheap wink and a nod to BB. But if they don't want to appear, whatcha gonna do?

Didn't Hank seem to kind of know Saul when we first saw them meet upon Badger's arrest? Or was it the other way around? That could be something to explore.

So going forward, this will be on Mondays, huh? Part of me wishes AMC would release all of these at once, like Netflix does with House of Cards.

BCS was the highest-rated series debut in cable history but viewership dropped 50 percent the following night. Stupid people. :lol

I really don't want to see Walt, it does not make any sense. At that point it's just Breaking Bad territory. Only BB people I'll be cool with being on the show is: Jesse, Badger, Skinny Pete, and maybe Hank. No one else would make sense, as Gus for example was a bit of a news for Saul in BB. Don't think there would be some sort of connection there. Make more sense as Easter eggs like having him at one point meet a client at the Pollos Hermanos, then maybe Gus can just be there saying hi.

Yeah, we don't really need to see Walt. It would seem forced.

Gus could fit in there somewhere though because Mike is closer to Gus then he is to Saul, and we've seen Mike plenty already. I have no doubt they'll be developing Saul and Mike's "partnership". Depending on how long the show lasts, Mike is going to end up being Fring's man if he isn't already.

Yea, it's still early, but at this point, I say let's avoid Walt and Jesse. Gus, sure, but not in the same scene with Saul. He didn't know him in BB and had to go through Mike.

Honestly, I think it'd be kind of cool if we got to see some of Breaking Bad from Saul's perspective. We've already seen some of the aftermath, and I think it'd be kind of cool to see just what he had going on during some of the moments. They could even do the thing where Walter was Badger's uncle from Saul's P.O.V.

Saul never met Gus in BB...if I remember correctly, but on this show he could still stop by Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant and order some food from Gus , not knowing who he really is, while meeting a client or someone else in one of those restaurants :D

I agree, for sure, it just seems that Better Call Saul is like an overall prequel with the only mention of BB is his intro scene with his post-dealings of all that.
