Void, ZaCH, Logan, lambo, blackmask, and blackthorne, among others, and probably Wofford. :lol

NO WAY :cuss:cuss

LORD OF THE RINGS 4LIFE

(actually the Potter Ride at Universal is pretty amazing actually, the Ride only, not the movies or the books. Really makes me wish a theme park would do a Lord of the Rings ride or something... :monkey2)

I am a Rings fan Til I die! :gah:

The difference is I don't "spread my cheer" in every thread about it.

I'm glad this Nolan Batman crap is over. It was fun while it lasted but the uberfans just kill it. Not sure who said it, but yeah, I'd say it's just as bad as the Twilight ****. Instead of adolescent girls being interested in vampires and werewolves though, you have grown men gushing over Batmen and Banes.

Nolan fans do go overboard. Like when people gave Rises bad reviews.... Not even the Twilight fans give death threats :rotfl:rotfl
in fact the Nolan Bat fans might be worst than the Twihards in that aspect :lol

Dont even know why people like bane so much. He was such an awful villain and nolan downgraded him so badly.

I enjoy both series. Some stuff I don't like from both series and a lot of stuff I do like.

Reboot of Spider-Man is meh for me so far, but I'm willing to see how it develops with later entries. New Batman series could be very cool if they go down more extraordinary and unrealistic route and have some of his outlandish enemies featured. I'd like to see Mr. Freeze again. Maybe Clayface or Killer Croc as well.

a more serious "batman and robin" then?

Those characters work well in the Batman universe and some great stories have been told using Batman's entire rogue's gallery. I'd like to see that done when they decide to start the Batman movies up again. Serious and realistic is fine and I enjoyed the Nolan movies, but I think it can work really well the other way too. Marvel's shown that with how they've handled the Avengers and the individual character movies that led up to that one.

I guess like the Arkham games I really wish they based the new movies on those. that would be wonderful.

:goodpost:

Its what kinda made me sick of the whole thing in the end, too much overhype. Same thing with Iron Man, just sick of seeing him, too much glorification over an okay character.

ASM > Raimi

Spider-Man > Batman

:exactly: :hi5:

:exactly::goodpost: Loved the first iron man flick but I find Downey jr grating on me now as much as Johnny Depp doing his Keith Richards impression throughout 4 pirate movies. I think in the end casual fans end up wanting to distance themselves from things that attract obsessive diehards.

Hopefully the reboot will use villains that haven't been on-screen. Nolan started off great with Scarecrow and Ra's but then went and just reused Joker, Two-Face, Bane and Catwoman again.

They were different sure but still same characters.

I am a hardcore Raimi fan but I have to be fair and Batman is the better trilogy overall to me, mainly because there is actually an ending for the Batman trilogy while SM3 wasn't really supposed to be the last movie and there was gonna be a fourth one where Raimi will redeem himself.

Of course, sadly that didn't happen and we got the awful ASM instead.

This pole results would be very different if Raimi actually got to make the SM3 and SM4 (with Venom being introduced at the end of SM3) that he wanted instead of the crap and that producers push on him.
