No they were vestigial nubs, not arms. The Aliens version had arms which always came over as a bit goofy looking to my eyes

The behind the scenes footage showing the inner workings and the environment they made has so much attention to detail. I think as long as they do the alien some justice by giving some suspense it should be actually pretty good. Fede's movies with dont breath and texas chainsaw I thought were really good so im hopeful.
