Super Freak
I haven't watched episode 2 yet. Please tell me Grogu shows up in that one...
I'm talking about the presence of the Empire on Tatooine (a backwater planet in the Outer Rim with little to no significance to the Empire) and Obi-Wan's isolation at this point in the story.
ROTJ is 13 years after this show. The Empire only goes to Tatooine in ANH because the droids' escape pod crash lands there. It doesn't appear to be a planet that the Empire would otherwise bother with.

Part two was better inasmuch there was more interesting scenery and a wider variety of characters.
I think the target audience are kids aged around the age of the Leia actress - which seems about eight rather than ten.
But... where's Luke? Is he okay?
Leia wears green, and she isn't much bigger than Grogu...
You don't care if he's OK. You just want to know if he's showing.....Part two was better inasmuch there was more interesting scenery and a wider variety of characters.

You guys really dislike this huh? I thought it was solid. It’s only two episodes in.

Did I get it right?
For me, McGregor is the highlight of the show. I've never been a fan of the prequels, but his matured performance here is thus far enjoyable.
I get what you're saying, but you're implying Tatooine has no communication with any other planets?
There's no galactic "internet," some way that information reaches the planet about what's happening across the galaxy? A newspaper? lol. Something? Anything?
But they had to make Reva MORE badass than the GRAND Inquisitor obviously.*spoilers*
I’m probably in the minority but I thought Reva was quite badass, as was the Grand Inquisitor. They were both acted really well. That scene where she’s calling Obi-Wan’s name was chilling. I do wonder if the backlash against her would be there if she was a he, a white woman, or alien character. I’m not exactly the most pro-woke guy but I really do sense a bit of racism going on with this character. I hate calling people out on that, it’s just rather obvious.
Btw I’m not necessarily accusing anyone on here of that, there’s just a hell of a lot of it out there on YouTube and elsewhere on the internet, so it’s definitely a thing.
