At least Kenobi hasn't been transformed into an unrecognizable out of shape, moronic, and completely inept version of his former self.
Yet.
Yet.
Yeah, I agree!!!!!!!!!OBIWAN SHOW SPOILERS.
Reeva is a total badass. With time she may become a bigger movie villain than Darth Vader, who sure couldn't go all those flips and twists across the buildings. Not sure I'll get her figure though, not sure my detolf is big enough.
A strong first 2 episodes with some real cliffhangers, I thought for a second Reeva was gonna follow up on her threat to kill Owen, and I thought Leia was history when she fell.
I rest my case.Yeah, I agree!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, Reva is such a strikingly scary looking villain. I mean, just look at her.
Next to Vader, Sidious/Palps, Maul, she's terrifying. And compared to the rest of the panzy looking Inquisitors, the Grand Inquisitor, 2nd Sister, 5th Brother, 7th Sister, 9th sister... All no comparison in badassness when it comes to Reva.. Nothing beats a small statured black woman with dreadlocks to strike fear in the hears of people and the Jedi
I think She'll even surpass Vader as being SW fans favorite Villain....
I rest my case.
Agreed. I think we're meant to interpret this as the Empire's taking an interest in Tatooine for the first time, and it's only because the other Jedi there revealed his true nature. In addition to Obi-Wan's mental state & that he seemingly had closed himself off to the force, keeping his head down and not showing any interest in off-world events is probably the best way to protect Luke. Even with the Leia kidnapping trap Reva doesn't know that he came from Tatooine. But I do think it was a mistake to have Bail Organa come to Tatooine to convince him to save Leia. Surely Reva would have been monitoring his actions and had someone following him? I guess that's why she wasn't the GRAND Inquisitor. When making a plan, learn to sweat the details sister!Nope, not implying that. I'm saying that Obi-Wan is so out of touch and disconnected that he is probably not aware of many things happening outside of Tatooine and is not getting involved. He's probably not even aware of many things happening on Tatooine itself, such is his current state of mind. Many people on Tatooine may be aware of Darth Vader rampaging across the Galaxy enforcing the Emperor's will, that doesn't mean that Obi-Wan is.
And that makes sense, given his mental state and self imposed isolation.
They didn’t, most likely. I wrote another post later, restating my question. He has to survive the event in order to be present in Rebels.Did they though? If Darth Maul can survive getting cut in half, I think there's a good chance we haven't seen the last of him. That said we don't have an abundance of episodes, so they're going to have to wade through the Inquisitors fairly quickly before we get to Vader.
Yes, the opening scene was everything I ever wanted. I had no idea it was happening so I was thrilled. I almost wondered if we would see Jedi Temple Guards and get a HT of one.Two episodes done. Best part? Opening scene of the first. We need more flashbacks and clones.
Let’s see how it evolves. A bit too many jump loops, not too sure about that one enemy. A bit whiney, like Anakin.
Have one question… Why the h**l did they kill off one of the bad guys right away? Was one of the more interesting characters going into this series. Whining one just had to do it.
Live action (think they were) clones are awesome. Hope we see more flashbacks from the CW era.Yes, the opening scene was everything I ever wanted. I had no idea it was happening so I was thrilled. I almost wondered if we would see Jedi Temple Guards and get a HT of one.
Yeah I forgot to refresh my screen before I posted that, so I missed your follow-up lol...They didn’t, most likely. I wrote another post later, restating my question. He has to survive the event in order to be present in Rebels.
Yep, that was my favorite PT viewing ever - 3 minutes long and no AOTC!Yes, the opening scene was everything I ever wanted. I had no idea it was happening so I was thrilled. I almost wondered if we would see Jedi Temple Guards and get a HT of one.
Lol that’s reaching a bit, they are all aliens, she’s the only human in the group shown so far. She’s lowest among Inquisitors probably because she had the least training or is the youngest or was found in a worse state after Order 66.The head inquisitor guy was actually very very good but of course they had to go politicalwith the white men found Reva in the gutter and she will always just be gutter underneath no matter her allegiance to the Empire and then her “who’s in the gutter now” comeback ughhhh.
No worries, there’s a ginormous flow of posts in this thread. Hard to keep up, if you ask me lol.Yeah I forgot to refresh my screen before I posted that, so I missed your follow-up lol...
I haven’t read spoilers but I believe she was personally tasked by Vader since the other inquisitors seem to have given up on finding Kenobi. Vader tells her he is Anakin so she can relay the info to Kenobi. Her obsession with finding Kenobi and Vader certainly seems to suggest she is working solo in some form. It wouldn’t be out of character for Sith like Vader and Palpatine to use the inquisitors against each other to get what he wants.Eps were good. Young Leia actress is quite good for her age. Jake Lloyd level performance? Give me a ******* break. 3rd Sister was less annoying than I feared. Actress is good. Hope they explain how the heck she knows Vader & Anakin are one/same. I doubt her job would give her access to that info, but you never know. She's a pretty ambitious character.
They did 4-LOM dirty; it was cool to see him, but I wished he was a tad more epic in the fight.
Meh that show was never good. It relied heavily on 80s nostalgia and call backs to 80s culture. Everything about it is overhyped and boring . Take the 80s stuff away and you got a forgettable showAt one time it would be an odd day when Star Wars was just the warm up act for an unrelated series: Stranger Things dropped its latest seven episodes today.
No idea lol. Hey, maybe we'll find out that Reva's last name is Windu and she's pissed at Obi-Wan for not being there to save her daddy. Now THAT would be a twist! No worries, there’s a ginormous flow of posts in this thread. Hard to keep up, if you ask me lol.
What will we see in the next episode, I wonder. Any theories?
