"Next in our Summer 2022 collection, Annie is sporting a lovely off the shoulder number..."

I think they’re showing us an Obi-Wan go from total despair to (ultimately) believing in the “New Hope” for the galaxy. He’d been going through the motions in keeping tabs on Luke, but it’s evident that he hadn’t really believed things could change. Now that he’s seeing there are still many who believe, I imagine that’ll enable him to tap into the Force and regain his will & confidence. Seeing firsthand how evil Anakin has become & that he’s partly responsible should also motivate him.

My goodness - you’re an AWFUL parent! :rotfl

since the pandemic, its been pretty much 24/7 with kids in the house, so ive sort of just thrown away my parent card and just be myself now :lol

I started thinking about it and how a lot of people accuse Star Wars of being too “woke” under Kennedy, but Star Wars has always been incredibly woke to me. I mean, at it’s core, it’s about a quadruple amputee who self-identifies as a black man and his octogenarian burn victim best friend overcoming the odds and achieving universal harmony and capitalistic excellence. It’s actually very inspiring.

"They lost him, now we'll never find him".

Yeah making up that 15 yard head start that a badly burned and shell-shocked Kenobi and a slow moving droid had turned out to be impossible to overcome for Vader and his entire landing party. And that after Vader first played his typical game of hide and go seek.

This explanation of an escape wouldn't even be acceptable in an episode of Scooby-Doo.

James Earl Jones did an amazing Hayden Christensen tone when speaking as Darth Vader. I've rewatched his scenes and the emphasis on certain words and the way he says it comes out as if Hayden himself were delivering the lines.

Reva's character and motives are starting to become more interesting to me. They remind me of the Sith code...
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power. Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
I still believe she was the young Jedi in the first scene of the show and seeing the Jedi symbol on the wall further proves that.

Obi-Wan's reliance on Master Qui Gon and his reaction to the confrontation with Anakin really shows how unlike Obi-Wan is with himself and The Force. He's currently at his lowest and I'm excited to see his development in the last three episodes.

Look, I can tolerate a lot in these threads, but I will not stand-by and have you disparage the perfection that was Scooby-Doo (pre-Scrappy era)

100%. Rogue One is largely a boring movie imo, only the third act is actually any good.
RO suffers from poor character building quite a bit but gets a pass, including from me, for it’s amazing 3rd act!

RO had some huge last minute story changes and you can feel it.

Jyn, her family and Saw suffered for it.

Still a thrilling SW movie peppered with weak character back stories.

Shame Rebels looks like Handy Manny.

Seems accurate...

Here you are using those terms several times.
I was simply pointing out there's a difference between hate and criticism and I didn't get why young people call everything hate when it's criticism.
Point out the poor writing or acting and someone calls it "hate"
Did you literally mean people hate Reva (not talking about those internet trolls that were sending her horrible messages, I'm referring to normal fans discussing the character) or do you mean people are criticising her character and the writing etc.
You said you "don't get the hate" when there are pages of people explaining their issues with the character in perfectly reasonable terms, no hatred included.
So do you literally think people hate or is it valid criticism?
If you still don't understand why people don't like her, even after it's explained in multiple posts by multiple people then I don't think I can help you understand.
Or do you mean you understand their argument and just disagree with their opinion.
In which case you do "get the hate" you just disagree with it.
Sorry but I'm genuinely not sure what you're trying to say in your posts.
Did I say that anyone was a hater tho? I just said I don’t get the hate. Which there is for reva. Why is this a big deal for you? Let it go. I said I don’t get why people hate her which is shown throughout social media. What’s not to get? I don’t understand what’s the issue. I don’t care if people explain it or not I still find the hate unesscessary. I don’t have to agree with you just because I see others explain why they don’t like the character. That’s just silly. Stop dragging this out.

Now I do see valid criticism but I’m talking about just anger just to be angry. You get what I’m saying. Just hate the character cause they think she’s woke or black or a woman.

And now they're making a series with the dullest character from the film.

We've all done terrible things on behalf of the Rebellion. Spies, saboteurs, assassins. Everything I did, I did for the Rebellion. And every time I walked away from something I wanted to forget, I told myself it was for a cause that I believed in. A cause that was worth it. Without that, we're lost.

One of the best not easy black & white characters, backstory and set-up, who caries the weight of his actions.

I am confuzzled; I dont know what to think. Do I like this or not?

The coolest thing in this episode was that stormtrooper getting cut in half by the laser gate, I think.

I think Kenobi needs one'a these tape contraptions for Brat princess: And include a ball gag.

That was one of the great Scooby episodes of all time. Baby Rama was genuinely creeped out by the idea of this astronaut ghost shambling around.

I'm surprised the Russian space program does not have a bunch of such ghosts, as how they treated their cosmonauts was a genuine horrorshow. But I digress.
