That was the phrase I thought was fairly clear but yeah you "could" interpret it as Vader met Kenobi again after Mustafar and still consider himself not fully a master...I mean Windu did sort of beat that idea into him

Yeah I mean according to the Clone Wars Anakin dueled Dooku 50 times after AOTC and his powers had apparently doubled since their duel the previous Tuesday so there you go, lol.
