IMO it's slightly less lifeless than the other episodes; agree with others there's the bones of a decent story here, and hints of even great momentsI liked this episode. Not surprised that y’all don’t like it. Darth Vader destroyed that girl . You guys should have been satisfied with that lol. If she even got a hit off him I’m sure they’d be huge rage.
My son was born in 1994 and loves to PT. He enjoys the heck out of AOTC and TPM and I think ROTS is his favorite film overall. I liked them just fine when they came out and actually enjoy them more now...
I definitely think it’s an age thing. I was born in ‘97 so TPM is one of the first movies I can remember watching and I adore it.
I’ve been pretty disappointed and upset over the Kenobi show thus far, but the flashbacks in this episode did make me tear up.
Each to their own I guess!!
After ep 5 …Vader could’ve stopped the falcon from leaving Hoth easily in ESB if he didn’t arrive late
Oh for sure I’m exactly the same. I think the general consensus for most people my age is that ROTS is the best Star Wars movie. That film is an absolute masterpiece, made even more enjoyable with supplemental material like TCW and the novelisation! My son was born in 1994 and loves to PT. I totally agree about Bail's stupidity being an epc fail. 100%! And this guy is supposed to help lead a secret rebellion!?Yeah I understood it was hiding inside the other ship. So ok, I will buy your Force battery recharge.
I think this all stems out from Rogue One when the Tantive IV escaped. A lot of people were saying how cool it would have been if Vader used the Force to stop it. It was also shown in Force Unleashed I think.
By far the biggest sin of this episode is Bail's stupidity. Basically "Kenobi I'm afraid you might be dead and they'll find out about the kids we are hiding so I am calling you here my dead friend to tell you I'm going to Tatooine where you hid the boy."
Add to that the peculiarity - and it's true of Anakin as well - that these beings slaughtered how many but their redeemed now so Reva is a hero I guess. The sudden Luke tie-in IMO was particularly cringe.Obi-Wan Convenience at it again.
The *one* person on Tatooine whom Reva asks for his name happens to be Owen.
The one person who finds and picks up Kenobi's communicator happens to be Reva.
The communicator has one message on it and it happens to be Bail Organa mentioning Tatooine and Owen by name. You've gotta be kidding me!?
And all of this incredible long-odds happenstance is allowed to occur because Vader conveniently doesn't finish her off when he's standing next to a dude who just survived being stabbed in the gut by a lightsaber.
And, of course, this also comes after Vader conveniently decides not to pull down the second ship like he did the decoy one because... reasons.

I also have no idea what Reva was trying to accomplish in playing the long game with Anakin/Vader by knowing his identity, nor what Vader was trying to accomplish by playing the long game with Reva while knowing her true intentions. Was Vader using Reva because he felt she was smarter and more capable of tracking Kenobi than he was? If so, then wow that's terrible.
That's stretching it a little far there... Your entire logic starts off with a flaw... Plus she apparently knew Obi-Wan was on Tatooine. That's why she went there. How about the convenience of Vader chasing a ship with the Death Star plans that happens to have his daughter on, who then sends the plans to the one planet with her twin brother on who happens to buy the robot with said plans off some Jawas who happened to drive by.
First of all, when talking about using plot conveniences *during the writing of a script,* please keep in mind that when ANH was written Leia was not intended to be Luke's sister. Hell, Vader wasn't even supposed to be Anakin Skywalker when that script was being written. How about the convenience of Vader chasing a ship with the Death Star plans that happens to have his daughter on, who then sends the plans to the one planet with her twin brother on who happens to buy the robot with said plans off some Jawas who happened to drive by.
Yes, that's what I was just telling my son. I would've liked for him to mimic the movements he did when he had both his and Obi-Wan's saber in AOTC fighting Dooku and then scissor Reeva with them. That would've been some cool continuity.awesome episode. Loved Vader toying with Reva in that fight. That moment when he was holding both of the red sabres reminded me of the moment in episode III when he was holding both sabres before decapitating Dooku. They should have done the same thing here, actually - Vader should have decapitated Reva in the same way he did to Dooku - that would have been really cool.
To me, this is what Star Wars is truly about. Great move.Dunno if it was the worst episode but breathtakingly bad. Careens and lurches along, indifferent to any sort of pacing or common sense, and so
cheaply shot they might as well have had spacecraft hanging off visible wires. Ewan seems to have his face fixed in a perpetual anxiety attack.
I need to rewatch BOBF as sort of a brain cell purge. At least we had the spinning guy instead of this lifeless mess.

Every single time I see this ... I'm just confused. Like ... genuinely perplexed. Is it a mistake? Is it a joke? How exactly does that happen? I'm looking at it wondering where they could have inserted FX for it to make sense but there's ... nothing there.
