We have seen the final production photos and they did not show the product in a good light! Prior pre production photos were looking good.

I am more surprised that we avent seen the packaging. The figure is being shipped out this week, hopefully not in a shoe box!

My thoughts on the rest of the year.
10th will be ship around November. 4th needs to up for PO now for a January ship.
1st can only really go PO, but do it on 23rd Nov for max interest.
A second 11th is doable this year, as I believe all the parts are done. Originaly for expansion packs, it might prove more valuable to go for a completely new combo, using the HS, new clothes, and existiing body.

Sure, and I'm willing to cut them the slack to put up some better photos and show that the photography and not the figure is the problem..... but they're not posting ANY photos of this figure (or her packaging.)

They took that shady M.O. from Sideshow. Post no final production pics until AFTER the product has shipped! :lecture

All my sideshow figures look 99-100% just like the pre-order photos (and I have a lot of them.)

Speaking of the Weeping Angel, I wonder if they've given up on that?

I really hope so. Lol. I didn't like the Weeping Angels after the Time of Angels.I REALLY didn't like them when the Statue of Liberty was one. That went past cheese factor. I think the bust would probably be the one to buy. It won't be moving any way.:rotfl

The Weeping Angel bust really is fantastic. The way this one looked, though, it was more of a statue with swappable parts. Which I thought was a neat idea, though I'm not sure I'd have purchased it.

I ordered the bust two days ago. Even if BCS do get around to making their Angel, I figured it would be quite some time.

Do we have any info on when/where/how much the David Tennant version will be that online retailers will get? This is my FAVORITE Doctor, but I didn’t get this one. I just can’t afford it. I am working a temp job that ends on August 1st, then who knows.

Not yet I am afraid. If it is a signature edition then it will be in the £170 region and a regular will be in the £150 region, roughly based on current pricing.

We have seen that BCS can deliver good stuff, but it's the time-frame that is the wild variable here. The guys at BC may really and truly want to keep to the estimated dates given, but some undue circumstances have already pushed things on quite badly, so far.

Considering their plate is going to be pretty full through the start of next year, I'd think Summer/Fall 2014 is the soonest they'd have the non-50th version of the 10th Doctor out.

I could always be wrong! It just seems unlikely they'll come out with another version too soon.

If you happen to be someone who missed out on pre-ordering the 10th Doctor, I don't think it would hurt to write to Big Chief and ask if they would be willing to put people on a wait list.

Given the huge website fiasco that took place on the day the pre-order went live, I wouldn't be surprised to be find out that a small quantity of the figures suddenly becomes available.
