I'll be honest. Though Tom is my favorite Doctor, I am more excited about getting a Hartnell figure on the shelf.

I bought the 11th Doctor from Hastings in the U.S. Will wait for them to get the 10th in as well. I really hope they get around to doing all 11 Doctors...

It was my understanding that 10 was not going to be sold in North America and was exclusive to BCS direct.

I can't wait until Big Chief puts our their 10th Doctor figure. I just went back through and revisited some if his episodes. He really was s great Doctor. I didn't appreciate him as much when he was the Doctor as I do now. This figure exemplifieds everything good about this hobby we all love. Big Chief are basically fans making figures for other fans. I would love to have it before the 50th Anniversary rolls around in November but that will be pushing pretty hard with the Amy getting ready to release. These guys do such a great job on these figures for the show I love. And next after that the 4th Doctor Tom Baker:yess:

:exactly::goodpost:he's the doctor that got me back into the series

10 Will be released again just not in the same suit and with as many accessories.BCS stated this at the time of pre-order.I expect you wouldn't get the light up base either.

Yeah, the light-up base is only for the fiftieth anniversary editions. That means any Doctors released outside of this year won't be given a similar base? Hm. I'm not sure about such inconsistency.

I was under the impression these were introduced for the 50th and would be the base going forward. Could be wrong, though.

10 should pop up on eBay though yes?

Everything does.

BCS stated that that the figure would only be available through their web site. I think people thought that the US toy sites would still be distributing them though. Not the case.

The figure has been sold out but no doubt some people have bought it to sell it to sell it on.

They also announced a new 11th and Hartnell so i hope they get the light up bases too. I just hope that they offer signed versions of the 11th since i missed the signed version on the first release and bought only the regular.

That will be interesting. Will there be signature editions of subsequent releases of the same Doctor?
If so, it will create a second chance to get a signed edition if you missed out first time around.
Somehow, I doubt it though. I can see the signature edition only being the first release if any given Doctor / character.

That could be the case. They seem to be linking the fiftieth anniversary editions with the light-up bases, however.

They will be getting the light-up bases. From a comment on their Facebook page:

"[...] we are offering the 11th Doctor as a completely new figure as his costume is totally different, plus this will be a 50th Anniversary edition with the light-up base."

I too hope there'll be a signature edition, but I won't be surprised if there isn't. My Eleven is just the regular edition.

I find it odd that they're releasing another 11th already, when the first version is the only figure they've released so far. I understand he's leaving, but I personally would've rather seen a few more, before revisiting that one.
