Well it has now been ten days and four emails since I *paid in full in advance* for the Matt Smith figure (had some extra $ in the Paypal account). Still no Handles showing up on my order, still no response of any sort from Big Chief. They do good work and I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that this gets sorted out but man they really need to work on their customer service.

I've never ordered from them before so I can't vouch for them but I've seen people get handles and get in touch with Big Chief, see if you can tweet at them or find them on facebook, I mean you shouldn't have to, but it might help. see if they got a live chat like SS does? And if they are out of handles use this thread as a way to show them that you tried to pre order it on a certain date. I hope everything works out man. But I've also heard their world pay or whatever is horrible

Sadly this seems like an all too common story, unfortunately. Been there myself as well with them, and more than once.
On the upside, whenever you finally do manage to get a response, they're usually quite good at taking care of their customers. Getting to that point though is often way more of a hassle than it should be, and I really wish they'd get on top of that side of the business.
Try contacting them on their Facebook page, but I've seen that take a while, and people go unanswered there as well. Alternatively, I don't know if it's practical or not for you, but you can phone them on 0845 805 5777 (according to their website) and try talking to a real live person.
I know how frustrating feeling left in the dark can be, so best of luck on everything getting sorted for you soon.

Glad to hear that, I was on the fence about them and scared to kinda order from them because of the horror stories but glad to hear that it got sorted out

I'm going to wait on the 12th Doctor, but have a feeling I wont like the sculpt they put on it, and will regret not picking this one up but am not a huge Matt Smith fan, or I should say his version of the Doctor

^Maybe you could buy the 12 head separately, there might be a few people who just want the 11th Doctor and will be getting rid of the 12 head.

I wondered if this wasn't going to suddenly pop up a few days ago, after they included the coat with the TARDIS. I do kind of wish they had gone for a different expression, given that this is now the third Matt Smith head, so a little variety wouldn't have gone astray.
Much as I appreciate them making this other oft-requested sculpt available for fans, I'm also not the biggest fan with them unexpectedly dropping new product on us for sale like this without any prior warning, either, especially at the same time as an expensive high end item, but maybe that's just me.
But I'll buy it anyway, of course*.

I made a hat like that, actually looks more accurate as I made a real hatband, BC's just seems painted on, problem is the figure can't wear it because of the hair so I had displayed him holding the hat in one hand. Still, I'm happy to finally get an 11th wearing the stetson. Guess I could repaint the hat and make another hatband.
I was just happily and effortlessly charged for my installment. Good sign kinks are being ironed out.

Still don't know if I'll be getting the Stetson head, but hopefully they do another sculpt with a new expression and maybe a 1/6 scale mop that I thought they were planning to offer a while back.
