I'm so glad I preordered this since I've been on a Doctor Who creative kick these past few weeks. 11 in this outfit is going to complete my 50th anniversary special collection since I already have Tennant and I just finished this guy who apparently is looking for the Doctor :

Still don't know if I'll be getting the Stetson head, but hopefully they do another sculpt with a new expression and maybe a 1/6 scale mop that I thought they were planning to offer a while back.

Wow, I'm glad you guys like it! It's only my third attempt at a custom and my second try at a 1/6 head sculpt.
I was on a roll after sculpting Eccleston / 9th Doctor and I wanted this guy to accompany the 10th Doctor and this upcoming 11th Doctor.
I have a thread in the custom section about these.
Now I'm hoping to do Rose as Bad Wolf to complete the set.

I really can't wait to get 11 in the new outfit so I can do the pointing screwdriver scene

Interesting. So we never got Series 3 Ten, Rory and Amy 2 pack and Sarah Jane. Rory and Amy 2 pack was a good idea but I wonder if some of the companions if they were going to go 2 packs that they pack them with a new variation of The Doctor. Policewoman Amy with regeneration Eleven including new face sculpt would have been neat.

Still, we all know full well how the Karen Gillan likeness situation went, and the resulting fallout from how that affected the final product, so I imagine that pretty much put the kibosh on them bothering with the variant version of Amy as part of the proposed two pack, and that likewise probably sabotaged the idea of bothering to do Rory at all. Bit of a shame, but there you go.

Yeah, I have a feeling that Amy not selling well at all kind of soured them from going too far from The Doctor. It sucks because I do want companions like a better likeness Amy, Clara and Rose but the chances are slim I fear.

I would definitely buy a Sarah Jane and a Clara. But Rory? No!

I'd probably buy Rory if the price wasn't too high. Honestly I'm surprised they didn't raise the price of The Doctors just a tad to cover some of the companions and "lesser" Doctors. What I really want is some baddies. I would love Simms' Master (the first version not the bleach blonde version) or a Cyberman, Silence or even Davros, some aliens to diversify the shelves. My big want though is within scale Dalek.

Hartnell ships this month. I don't recall them. Giving a date for this yet.

Ugh. Of course they took my final payment on this already and I'm waiting until June for it. Interesting that the Weeping Angels are delaying so long.
