Yes!! preordered!! AWESOME!!

Congrat Pau, I'm glad you secured one for yourself. I knew you were nervous from your posts the last couple of days. Well done! Now, the wait...:impatient:

Out of interest, when I click that link to see what's what...and if I am reading this correctly...the only thing to sell out so far is the Signature Edition, Numbered Pairs. It seems that all other Signature Edition options are still available....for now.

Though to secure a high quality figure and a 100% legit auto of one the world's biggest rising stars is not so easy to ignore for memorabilia nuts. Oh alright then, me! :lol

If you're not seeing a "next" button that will let you check out, go into your account settings and look at your shipping address. If it's there but doesn't have a green check next to it, go in and "edit" it. This may be as simple as clicking a radio button that says the shipping and billing address are the same. Once you've gotten the green check to appear, you should be able to advance in the checkout process. It should take you directly to Paypal and back.

Wow, that was easy! Preordered and paid the deposit on my Limited Edition Sherlock figure.

Have to say, I was wavering about this one, but the gallery they posted made up my mind. I was very critical of the paint job when I saw the earlier pictures but I'm always fair (like Sherlock I suffer from Asperger's and in my case I'm incapable of not telling it how I see it!) and I'm happy to retract my previous opinion of the paint job on both figures (I'm assuming the paint job hasn't changed). In these pictures it looks much more natural, the grey wash isn't so apparent. So, I take back what I said before - the pictures obviously gave me the wrong impression. Everything else is stellar too, fabulous tailoring and accessories. The sculpt has grown on me massively - again, maybe the fact that the paint job looks better has drawn out the sculpt. I thought it was too neutral, but actually it's an incredibly subtle sculpt that looks fine in a range of poses and you can read a range of moods into it. Or put it another way, genius.

Although I couldn't possibly afford Watson, the paint job looks better there too, much less cartoony, although the head looks a bit big to me (but that was the case with the Eleventh Doctor pictures and he looks fine in hand). That aside Watson looks brilliant - I didn't think I'd want him but if I could afford him I would buy it in a heartbeat, and not just to accompany Sherlock - the figure has a real presence of its own and reminds me how important the character is tot he show. Would love to have this figure with a gun in its hand standing on my shelf. Again, the sculpt is genius - you can read a real range of moods into it, which is perfect for a figure that can be posed with a walking stick or a gun.

So for now I'm happy to eat my words and I hope I get the chance to do so again when Sherlock arrives, some time next year.

I know I've suggested this before but with my journalist head on here's some good advice: BC ought to send Caitlin Moran at The Times a free sample of the Sherlock figure (hell, both figures) she would LOVE it and if she was to write about them you'd get real cut through, outside of the core market and into a market of people who may not know about 1/6 figures but have the money for luxury items (affluent people looking for unusual birthday presents for Sherlock fans, etc).

Anyway, can't wait for this, it's going to be a long year.

I pretty much agree across the board. The photo gallery really shows the figures well, and definitely look better there than in the early teasers.

I'd love to get at least Sherlock, but unfortunately my hours were just cut at work (we'll be ok, I just can't be extravagant with my spending) and this is not on the list of figure priorities.

And CB, that's a great idea about sending complimentary figures as promotions, especially to those who don't know much about 1:6 scale high end figures. They really need to be seen in-hand in order to appreciate the superior quality.

I am just so excited for these guys! I really need to start cutting back my big ticket items, but the nice thing about this set is that I know once I have these two characters I'm done.

I ordered a limited edition Sherlock. He'll get a repaint along with Ten, though.

I wish these were arriving in time for Christmas.

K, their site info is not making much sense IMO.
It says that non-UK and EU members will be charged the Ex-Vat price (which basically means everything except the UK???). That might be a typo or something, I assumed UK and EU wouldn't have to pay taxes.

Now, if I check out with a LE Sherlock figure it still gives me the full price (I am in the EU dude!). Furthermore, shipping costs are yet to be determined. I am backing off till it becomes *******-proof.

I believe VAT is payable by anyone buyng within the EU, but not by those out of it, so you would get charged the full price, including VAT, given that you are in the EU. But you won't get charged customs, because of that.

If anyone knows better, do chip in.
