I have a feeling there might be a reason for that....but I don't know. I've just barely started...but thinking back about what was said on the boat...and then by another couple near the beginning...makes me wonder.

That's what I was hoping, as well - somehow it's story related. I guess I'll find out.

Everyone telling me to slow down and take my time, I got 70/80 recordings and spent alot of time looking around. You'd be surprised at how short this game actually is. The other 2 were much longer games. Funny how the reviews state it's 12-15 hours. It's an excellent game but these insanely high scores have me suspicious.

well I clicked that spoiler thinking it was something earlier in the game as I'm pretty far into it, apparently not that far. :( misleading spoiler tag is misleading :(

I am going to take my time exploring this amazing world.

It cracks me up that you guys are giving him a hard time about the spoiler. It was posted properly. When I see a spoiler posted like that for a game I haven't finished, I don't click on it. Problem solved.

Yep its just that easy...lol:rotfl
Point is, for most of us the game was literally 2 hours old when most starting playing. So the assumption was, it can't be that bad. We all just started playing...right? right?
That's why people clicked on it, including me. lol

And I'm only teasing about taking it slow. But yes it does bug me when people blow through games in one or two days. lol I guess I just don't get it, or can't sit in front of the tv or computer screen for 4 hours straight on and off all day or night.

I hear you. I still don't believe he did anything wrong. I managed to avoid clicking on it hehe.

We all play games our own way. I'm always amazed at the number of hours people can put into a game each day, but that's what they enjoy, so I ain't hatin. It is amazing though. Like when a games been out 24 hours and people already have 24 hours played LOL.

I have to say, if I did not have to work and walk my dog and do other errands, I probably could have played this game straight for 12 hours or so. So maybe I would have finished it in one sitting. :dunno I did that with Halo 4 which bummed me out because I thought the campaign would be longer...and then it was over.

Games like this though...even if I barreled through it, I would be playing it for several weeks, because once I finished it, I would start a new game to see things through a different perspective (knowing how it now ends) and trying to find things I missed....change up my gameplay...try different approaches, etc...

About my post from last night of installing the game on my PS3, I was actually installing Bioshock 1! I felt really weird when I started the game and noticed the sorta out of date console graphics and the feeling in the plane scene like I have played this before. :gah:

I exited out of the game and realized that Infinite is above the Bioshock 1 icon. Wasted time installing the number 1 when I should have been playing Infinite for a good hour before going to sleep.

I've managed to scrounge a tiny bit of time to play this last night. I'm so busy lately but I won't miss a Bioshock game.\

I'll keep it brief. It's beautiful, and in a market that lacks elegance in its AAA mass-appeal games, Infinite has a poetry to its aesthetics that sets it apart from just about any AAA game I've played since the original Bioshock. The art design is just incredible.

I'm only a couple hours in, I'm sure it gets even better from here. I shouldn't have spent so much time tweaking pc settings. It's a must though, my rig is getting on in years so the graphics tax my hardware harder than before.

Is this game on sale anywhere? Or $59.99 everywhere?

Most of the sales I've seen are for direct download thru PC but the console versions are mostly $59.99. ($59.96 on Amazon.)

I can finally play as well! :rock2

Just a little video preview I made on my system.

As a console owner who also have a gaming rig, I am just going to have to go out and buy the physical copy of this game for my PC. I got to admit that PC gaming have spoiled me on the graphics department and I felt so cheated when I started playing this game on the PS3 and felt like everything was muddy.

I'm going to go pick up my super special edition on Friday. Looking forward to jumping back into bioshock.

Another night of play. It's getting better and better. I still don't know what the hell's going on, but it's pretty out there. Launching around like a lunatic on the skylines and experimenting with all the plasmids is a blast. This game does a great job of making you feel like a bada$$. I do wonder though...if all you have to do to get all these awesome powers was to drink a tonic, why isn't everyone using them? These drinks are laying all over the place.
