For those playing the console versions, how do they look? I know PC will dominate, but don't want to mess with Steam myself

If you don't want to mess with Steam, you should probably give up PC gaming forever hehe.

The ending is going to brain **** me for a while. It's 11 am and I haven't gone to sleep yet and doubt I will now. After reading a few articles I feel like I have a really solid grasp on everything now and it's quite amazing. Forget GOTY, this is probably the best video game plot I've ever seen when you finally start to get it all togeather and high in the running for all entertainment media. Ken Levine did a fantastic job with this.

I agree with you 100%. This is such a unique, creative story. I was left speechless after it ended....all I could think was WTF? and Wow! :lol I probably looked like this:

When they ended up on Rapture...my brain wanted to explode. :lol If Booker/Comstock is also Jack/Andrew Ryan I wonder who Elizabeth may have been in that alternative world...the little girls?

The vision of the different versions of Elizabeth at the end when they are drowning Booker, reminded me a bit of the ending in Bioshock where if you choose to save the little girls you see many of them around your bedside when you die of old age. Sad that by killing Booker/Comstock....Elizabeth and all these other versions of her will no longer exist. By killing him they were killing themselves as well. What a sad ending...I wanted to see them go to Paris. :( It was also sad for me when Songbird died. That bird was cool as hell.

I thought it was a beautiful game on the 360. It ran nice and smooth. I had zero problems.

Packed up my songbird edition today. After I get home ill start playing. Sounds like they created another great entry in this series.

The story/concept of this game....is one of the best I have EVER played. It's really tripping me out.....leaves you with a lot to think about it.

Enjoy playing it Josh - it is one hell of a ride. :D

For those who have finished - this article gives a good explanation of the ending:

Not long now and I'll start this one today...just wanted no distractions and today is perfect. Glad to hear its story is compelling. :rock

Just finished this and **** it was good! Hands down better than the original Bioshock. Which I never thought could happen! This might be my favorite game of all time. Maybe only trailing right behind Ocarina of Time. Looking forwards to the DLC. Bring it on!

Yea theres 2 good articles on Forbes as well, one about the ending, the other about

Rapture and the implications of the multiverse theories. It is still a happy ending when you think about it. Booker still exists in x number of universes. In some universes he is happy, some he's sad. Maybe in one he's made out of candy and hunts gummy bears for a living. In another he's a happily married woman. Etc etc. But in the where he created the paradox and branched into Comstock he and Comstock and Elizabeth are destroyed. (I say 9 because by my count theres 8 Elizabeth who drown you + the one future evil Liz) It shows us however theres still one where he exists as Booker who has a daughter Anna so they can live a happy life togeather. Anna will still grow to look exactly like Liz just no brainwashing. The big question I'm left with is does she still have her powers in that universe, and while they won't be concentrated by Comstock, will she still figure out how to use them when she grows up and to what purpose? I just loved the overall concept, it's like Looper meets Inception. He closes the loop he causes and can start again fresh.

It makes Bioshock 1 very relevant again and playable in a new light. Probably why they included it free with Infinite.

Rapture was used so well, between the sadness of the Songbird's death, the overall coolness of the fact you were in that entrance lobby you know so well where you get plasmids etc, and the fact you're trying to take in everything Liz is explaining, it's so easy to overlook the bigger implications like how you're able to use the bathyspheres. Hats off to whoever caught that element.

:goodpost::exactly: I seriously had my hand over my mouth when this happened :rotfl I felt like a little kid again getting so excited over something so simple as a game.

Thanks, Snappahead and Jen!!!

Yeah, have a steam accnt, just been forever

It's pretty hard to avoid if you play on a PC. For better or worse. I haven't had too many problems with them though. I downloaded Bioshock.

Honestly I absolutely love Steam. One of the best things to happen to PC gaming imo. I don't need cds cd keys hell I don't even have a dvd drive anymore :lol It is also nice that most pre order games you can have pre loaded so as soon as it is available you can play it. Like Bioshock I had it preloaded so as soon as I got off work I could start playing. Probably going to start this game tonight on the 1999 mode. I have a feeling it is going to kick my ***

Very impressed so far. Decided to get the season pass as well.

Yeah this is the first game I will actually buy the DLC. The only other time I have done this is if I bought the GOTY edition of the game.

Don't forget in 1999 mode that if you die and don't have enough money ($100) to respawn...it's game over.

Oh man thanks for reminding me! I completely forgot. It sure will be interesting :lol

GameStop had a deal where if you preordered the strategy guide (any version) you got the Seasons Pass for free. A little too late to do that now...but I did buy the hard cover limited edition version that came with the bird/cage key. Can't wait for the DLCs.

Gonna start my second play through tonight.

Speaking of the strategy guide. How is the hardcover? Is it really nice? I'm tempted to pick it up when I order the Art book tonight on Amazon
