It's a pain, but that's what I did.

Also, I'll replay games I've 1Ked on my second account, just because I like hearing the achievement noise. :lol

No Liz in the DLC?

https://www.destructoid.com/bioshock-infinite-dlc-appears-to-have-a-new-ai-companion-252710.phtml

My guess is

Slate. After the ending, because of the change made to time, Columbia in any and every form ceases to ever be. So it has to take place within the timeline of the first game. We could play as that alternate timeline Booker who dies alongside Slate in the Hall of Heroes as a martyr for the Vox uprising. Basically you could play from Booker's arrival upto the the tower only to find Liz isn't there and Comstock moved her. So he teams with Slate and dies in the HoH. This all co-incides with the voxophone recordings you find from alternate time Booker explaining what happened. Allows us to go through a slightly differant version of the first 2 hours or so of the game kinda back to the future 2 style.

I was going to start Bioshock 2 ...but then decided screw it. I want to go back to Columbia. I'm going to try and mix it up....perhaps only use the pistol...and no vigors (except when necessary to power up something or to get into the raffle area at the beginning). I really hope they release a DLC soon.

:yess: One down, now c'mon Vigor bottles!

Btw, It looks exactly like it does in the promo so pretty good for a realistic representation. Pretty close to what it looks like in the Tin Soldiers Toy Shop as well when it spooks Liz.

Oh, I'm sure it is accurate, if it's a prop replica, I'm sure Irrational had to approve it. I was just thinking the 'all black' is kinda ugg.

But something like this

It may just be the lighting, but something more brown, and some contrasting colors would be more "attractive".

BTW, you got a Skyhook, ya?? Do you consider it a must-have?

Yea I'd picked up on alot of those in game ones except the playing songs/messages backwards. Also didn't catch the toilet potatoes. :lol You gotta love both Rapture and Columbia, where else do people throw away money and eat out of the trash.

Yea if you're a giant fan it's pretty cool but it's way overpriced. The materials are a bit cheap, sort of like something you'd buy at a Halloween store as a sort of deluxe accessory to go with a seperate costume if that makes sense to you. It just sort of feels like a company like Nerf or someone with more experiance at these sort of things could have made the exact same product for around $40 tops. At $80 it really should have had better paint and slightly better plastic and detail as well as fewer visible screw holes, the ones on the hooks themselves really hurt it. Kind of a miss but the only option so at the end of the day I like having it on the desk.

When I was playing in 1999 mode...I was low on health and ate those potatoes. :lol

Thanks for the link to that video , some great stuff in there I missed.
That's insane how you can hear the sound of the song bird dying in the original bioshock. It sounds way to similar to be a coincidence to me but that's pretty unbelievable.

Finished the game over the weekend. Really enjoyed the game even though I've sworn off violent FPS games. I loved Elizabeth as she was an amazing woman and a great companion. I wasn't a huge fan of the ending though. I felt the mindblowing reveal was a bit tacked on and not set up as well as it could have been.

Have you guys discussed the changes in the game since the first demo? Wonder if we'll see some of these elements in the DLC or maybe even Levine's next game?

If you are interested, there is an interest thread for a 1/6 Elizabeth. Here's the link: https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125966&page=5

Not completely Bioshock Infinite related - but I've noticed the song "Beasts of America" that was in one of the Infinite trailers is getting a lot of play lately. It's played on the Major Cases new season commercial as well as the guitar part is heard in the Jack Reacher tv commercial. When ever I hear that song or any part of it...I can't help but think of Bioshock Infinite...and it makes me want to play it again. :lol
