Black Widow (July 9, 2021)

Man all I can say is they really screwed up the potential of a Widow Trilogy. Wow what a missed opportunity. I don’t get the hate against this. I really enjoyed it, far from the worst of the MCU. I think it slides around in Ant-Man/Iron Man 2/3 territory, which puts it into the top 15 for me. I can’t see it at any higher than 10th in the MCU movie rankings though. Will definitely re-watch it again.

I didn’t realize how close this was set to Endgame though. Unless I misread it, did the end credit scene really say two weeks later?

I think this should have been a trilogy though and slightly reworked. Would have been so much better.

Movie 1 - Origin of Widow that we saw in this one. Shows Hawkeye hunting down Widow and Widow’s eventual turn and at the time what we would think would be the death of the big bad.

Movie 2 - Pretty much this movie.

Movie 3 - Family teamup. Ends with her family being dusted, specifically her sister. Would give even more weight to her sacrifice in Endgame, to save her sister. End credit scene same that we got.

Even without the trilogy, I really think they should have tied her sacrifice into saving her sister with this one in an end credit scene. They still did her sacrifice dirty.

The kid they cast as young Widow looked nothing like her at all. I thought she was a boy at first and the blonde was Widow.

That's Paul Anderson (director of RE movies) and Milla Jovovich's daughter.

That's because all women want to be sexualized. Don't believe feminists.

The real feminists are ugly and are mad they don't get the same attention.

I think what they are trying to say is that if a man is turned on by them regardless of how they dress or look that it is the man’s problem to deal with their own horny hormones don’t involve or interact with the female in any manner especially in a work environment.

So will this Taskmaster be retired and the persona be taken over by the comic accurate version in future movies or will Taskmaster remain technology based.

I really enjoy Ray Winstone, but wow, did he look old in this. He is like 64. Odd choices made indeed. Seems like they crammed in a lot of plot lines. The Marvel scripts have taken a dive here since Endgame. Not seeing a lot of clever and unique complete stories.

Natasha’s end BW gear..was that really hers or was it Melina’s gear because they did the switch and Melina was wearing the white outfit It irks me because it had BW type weapons and the hook style weapon she used..if it wasn’t her gear ..how did she know how to use the weapons

That’s where preaching can get the preacher cornered up against a wall.

It’s impossible to film a movie without showing the actor-stunt person entire body it is impossible.

If she didn’t preach no one would care about her body parts being shown but now that she preached it becomes a thing to use against her.

I have said this from the beginning when she started preaching was that her message was confusing and actually went against what the feminist are fighting for.

If she understood her own agenda her statement regarding IM2 and hollywood in general should have been:

Instead her stupid message was that women should be ashamed of their sexuality because men will only objectify it for financial gain, an actor-actress no less.

I guess BW didn’t realize that instead of having to painfully break her nose to block her nerve from working so that she couldn’t smell the old white man all she had to do was stuff some plugs in her nose and breath thru her mouth lol

Yeah this movie is that bad at times.

Ironically as an old white man myself I was laughing as I was watching knowing that I haven’t had the sense of smell for 8 months now post covid.

My wife and I were right next to a skunk the other night and my wife was blown away that I couldn’t smell it lol

My wife has to tell me if I have BO or not before leaving for work just to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Other things I now can’t do with no smell (and taste)…

I can’t tell if food is spoiled.

I can’t tell if my bath towel is mildew stinky.

I can’t tell if there is a chemical leak or chemicals are being used.

I can’t tell if my wife silent farted on my face when i’m going down on her or if her coochie stinks sorry I know TMI lol.
