See this is where things get really stupid with these forced agendas.

Just now a lady training for a future Virgin Galactic space flight said it’s incredible how Richard Branson is paving the way for moms to fly into space when in the past women would never be considered to be an astronaut.

Umm did this dummy forget that 2 female astronauts heroically lost their lives on the Space Shuttle Challenger I don’t know maybe THIRTY SIX YEARS AGO!!!! :slap

Holy crap enough with the forced agendas.

She must have the same PR coach as Brie Larson. ;)

Back to the movie..

I will say this and fans tend to forget rather quickly but because I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s I don’t mind cutting MCU Marvel some slack over their handling of TM (and others) because lets be honest here a cinematic Avengers movie was a pipe dream just 20 years ago forget 23 consecutive connected movies!

Yet here we are 23 consecutive movies later while not perfect I am still in shock they exist at all.

Besides they gave me an incredible theatrical experience for TWS, CW, A1, IW and EG that’s FIVE movies they made me a kid again regardless of how comics altered they were.

Ok ok fine they are messing up their comic origins from BP to Warlock to TM but it is worth repeating that Avengers was just a ridiculous pipe dream even when Raimi was making Spiderman 2.

Ask yourselves this question.

Did the MCU accomplish (in a short period of time no less) what SW, Indy, Alien, Predator, Jaws, Die Hard, Robocop, Terminator, Bond, Rambo, Conan and Jurassic Park couldn’t in keeping a franchise above mediocre offerings.

Maybe the Rocky Cinematic Universe came close lol

Considering the time frame the MCU did it in does that cut them some slack?

Are you not entertained lol

The fact that I'm watching them and talking about them is the slack.

I am mildly diverted and somewhat entertained.

You're right about The Avengers though. How the hell did that happen?

Feige and RDJ, that's how.

Disney is reporting 85 million theatrical and over 60 million from D+.

What does 60 million from D+ translate to movie tickets….well 60 million exactly right?

Does that make it a $140 million opening. :horror

IMO To compare this to your typical SJW film we’ve encountered in Hollywood for the past two or three years is misleading..if you take out Yelena and Natasha’s characters …the other backstory of the Widows..being kidnapped as helpless little girls and then brainwashed and trained against their own will to be killers..I don’t see this as a women empowerment film because the killers have no control over their actions and since Drekov was the puppeteer .. behind this ..this seems more like women exploitation. In other words, to this exant…It doesn’t really bother me if they say this is a typical SjW mess Hollywood seems to do a lot of in films and tv nowadays..because deep down it isn’t.

Nah It totally was as evidence by Scarjo taking a brutal domestic abuse beat down from an old white male corporate executive like Weinstein and still telling him that he was powerless over here.

She even made him smelly by bringing up his sexual pheromones just like Weinstein lol

I just can’t believe that that beat down up close no less in an MCU movie is not being talked about more that was freaking insane and quite shocking for my son to watch.

Well I streamed it for free..but I wouldn’t pay $30 on D+ eventhough I’m an avid D+ subscriber. So it wouldn’t surprise me that people would pay the $30 and watch at home..

I still don’t feel comfortable seeing it in theaters yet..though I’ Ve been fully vaccinated for months now..That’s just me

Streaming numbers are a wonderful convenience for studios, aren't they? No way to truly track, no way to know what is spent when you amortize monthly fees, and you can use those numbers (subscribers) over and over again for your films. And when all else fails, you can just pull numbers out of your *** and who's going to check?

I’m fully vaccinated and I was creeped out by the fat dude sitting right next to me sneezing every minute :gah:

So same as theatrical reporting lol

We're in store for for some real crap when Disney realizes its doesn't have to spend $300 million on a brand movie anymore when they can claim the same audience by spending $30 million on a straight-to-streaming "event" movie.
