Re: Blade Runner 2049 Review

Time to start up a BR49 Flop Thread.

If it wasn't for the clown movie, WB would be.......

The original BR was a box office flop as well, but now it has a cult following. At least it got a proper sequel, regardless of how it performed.

Re: Blade Runner 2049 Review

Hellraiser .. not sure which one. I think was the 2nd..

Doesnt know hellraiser...

Talk about the ultimate pleb

Harry Callahan shot him

Ah, makes sense.

Also, screw you crows! I'm just not into Horror okay!? I'm not, like, a coward or anything I just, like, don't like 'em! Yeah, that's it man.

The truth is I really cannot stomach horror. I can count the horror films I've watched on one hand. It's just not a genre for me.

1987 Hellraiser. Great film.
I didn't know anything about the franchise outside of seein' Pinhead on posters and stuff 'till mid 2000's. Imagine my surprise when the original movie turned out to be a good suspense and character study instead of yet another horror slasher. :lol

Yeah, uh, Imma... Imma gonna pass. Clive Barker ain't my uh... jam. Neither is gore or the whole "sexual fetishes beyond your imagination". I'll just stay in my Coward Corner...

Re: Blade Runner 2049 Review

I've updated my post, man. Maybe it'll change your mind.

Marketin' for this film was pretty misleading.
Only one trailer was kinda close to what this movie actually is...
It's very spoilery and cuts two important characters from presentation.

I know about the themes behind it, its status and whanot, but I just cannot do horror. Not that it'll scar me for life or anything, but why put myself through an unpleasant experience? I get the whole point is the andrenaline rush, but it's not something I'm actively seeking. Truth is, I get scared easily by such things.
