I just got a notice from BBTS saying their shipment was split in two by the distributor, with the second half of the shipment arriving in February - This would explain the reference to a February availability by other retailers I think. Sadly I will have to wait for her until then... Patience padawan...

By the way, I put the statue in my shopping cart on the Ekia website on Sunday, but didn't complete the sale, and they sent me a 5% coupon code for it yesterday.

Ekia Hobbies site now says sorry this item is currently unavailable. Maybe they only had a few coming in at the end of Feb.

These updates are why I'm grateful for this board and the members. I would not have know that Ekia Hobbies was expecting stock in Feb. I'm glad that I was able to get in before it dried up as well. Thanks everyone.

Doesn't look like it, although it might not hurt to periodically check the listing in case a few become available due to cancellations (that's how I snagged mine at curtain call.) I'm relieved to hear all the orders will eventually be fulfilled, although I feel Blitzway missed an opportunity to produce more now that the first wave's success showed them how strong the aftermarket demand was. Or maybe not. If anything, people (myself included) will be quicker to jump on Rocky and future pieces now that we've seen how well Marilyn turned out in production.

Same here, once it arrives. I'm thinking of displaying it with Darth Vader and an Alien piece (if I can find an appealing/affordable one) for a 20th Century Fox setup, but only as a backup if Blitzway doesn't announce any new stars next year.
