Statue Blitzway- 1/4 'Superb Scale' Marilyn Monroe full spec

Got around to opening mine in this late hour. Used a macro lense to inspect the headsculpt as I usually. It's freaky good! There's the pink flesh under her eyeliner as well as the splotches in her skin tone. I think her nose is a little off, but overall quite jaw dropping.

Great shot! Out of curiosity, how is that Kotobukiya Wonder Woman in-hand? I'm debating on getting one.

EDIT: Never mind. I just found and bought one on eBay for $50. Hopefully it's not fake.

DEFINITELY get the Kotobukiya Wonder Woman. Gorgeous piece. I'm not a big Superman guy, but I also picked up the Jim Lee Koto Superman as well (from this same line) because it looks so damn good! I have the trio, with Batman...but if you're just interested in Wonder Woman, still take the plunge! Well worth it. Beautiful sculpt!

Isn't there something to click for insurance when printing the shipping label? It's been some time since I've sold anything on eBay, but they used to have it. Did eBay do away with insurance now?

Very odd because EBay does allow you to insure the package when printing the label. That has not changed.

Thanks for your help! I actually bought it to display with my ArtFX Catwoman. I never jumped on Batman for this because his reaching out pose, along with CW being on all fours, looked like he was releasing her through the cat door or something. The trinity however look amazing together, I agree. I may have to reconsider if I find a good price.

Blitzway never put an Edition Size on this knowing they can make as many as they can sell.
They probably just didn't expect these to do as well as they have been doing. So, the initial run sold out quick.
Now they're just gonna keep printing them till the demand dies down. That's why stores are awaiting another shipment, then another, then another. Price's will come down to retail when more are made available.

I'm glad you said that because I wanted to jump on this and when I saw the ridiculous prices I was worried I was never going to get it.

I did contact Roberto, and he said the December batch was sold but he's getting more at the end of Jan/Feb. His price isn't great, but it's the best one out there for anyone that has them in stock.

I'll wait in that case then.

I don't think anyone could be 100% sure without Blitzway announcing that they're making more, but considering the interest, wouldn't it be bad business for them not to? It would also explain why they never assigned an ES to the statue. Maybe they learned their lesson after the Bruce Lee rapid sell-out.
