Of course there is the possibility that Blitzway rereleases every figure they have ever made.
Until now they didn't.
Their homepage says its "SOLD OUT"
If there would be tons of this figure in stock or if it would be still produced then there
is no reason for a "SOLD OUT"
A rare sold out sought after statue which is rising in worth is a good reputation.
And the next figure (Rocky) is ready for a preorder.

If i would had ordered the Monroe firgure from Blitzway directly then i would have paid 361.-USD + around 100.-USD shipping + 92.-USD (20% customs) what would be in total 553.- USD

If i order from a dealer like ToysHeroes directly on their homepage i pay 450.-USD (414,- Euro) incl. shipping within the EU.
So this is 100.-USD cheaper then a direct order from Blitzway if they still would allow orders.

For me there is no reason to wait for a cheaper offer from anyone.

Keep waiting fellows I don't think there will be anymore- maybe a handful coming from a distributor but don't see Blitzway making anymore right now- this soon after it sold out a month or two ago.

Not just one distributor, 2-3 distributors already confirmed a handful for Feb/March. Even if it's sold out on Blitz main page, there's still distributors waiting for their second batch. And if the second batch is close to the amount in stock as the first batch, I'm seeing a bunch of these back on sale come Feb/March. I almost paid $700 shipped on eBay until my I called my LCS and they told me they're currently sold out and put my name for Feb/March batch. The flippers are trying to maximize their profit for now

Debating whether to pull the trigger on this statue or wait until MAYBE they do one for "The Seven Year Itch". The blowing skirt seems to be more dynamic of a pose. When and if they do that one, I hope they get K.A. Kim to do the headsculpt on that one, too.

it took almost 3 months for Roberto at toy heroes to get both bruce lees after the sold out sign on blitzway.so I would guess march when he get this.

In my opinion, Blitzway would be harming themselves if they decide to produce more of these. I know that I, for one, will cancel my Rocky 2 preorder and won't bother with them in the future. I like the limited nature of collectibles so I'm going that it is simply a second batch of the initially agreed upon ES that some retailers are waiting for. Again, that's just my opinion and since they apparently area not numbered, you guys may be right.

There was no "initially agreed upon ES". It's always read TBD on their site.
I know. :) I was just stating an opinion. I think that Gentle Giant also states TBD on items even long after the ES has been established. Blitzway isn't known for updating their website right away. In any case, we shall see what they have planned. Since people have stated that no ES is listed on the bottom of the statue, maybe the edition is open. I simply won't spend this much on an open edition in the future.

Me and you have a difference of opinion, which is fine, you love the Rocky II statue but because Blitzway doesn't have edition sizes and they may decide to produce more Monroe or any collectibles they make you will cancel your Rocky II preorder. I couldn't careless about edition sizes, if they decide to make a second batch, good for Blitzway if they decide to make more statues, they should capitalize on a hot seller and make as many as they can sell. I collect what I like, not for edition sizes or future investment value.

I get it. When I first started collecting I threw away boxes because I thought that I'd never sale anything. Through experience I've learned that things change and sometimes you might move a piece even if you love it. It could be financial hardship or just a change of direction in your collection. If you end up having to sale or trade a piece you want the value to hold and hopefully increase.

Exactly how I feel. I buy primarily to enjoy the collection, but the same as you - sometimes the direction changes and you want to sell or like me recently, a move forces to sell some. It's good to know you won't lose your shirt collecting something you love. Although, some people on here will moan because they think you're trying to flip. Not that anyone should have to justify themselves, but that's not what I do. If that's what people want to do though, good luck to them - it's a risky business. It does annoy me when the prices go the other way and drop by a huge amount, but this statue is unlikely to do that IMO.

I'm going to get one, just watching the price.

I agree. I do understand wanting to sell later on as display needs/interests change, but it doesn't mean you should always break even or make a substantial profit, considering you enjoyed the statue for however long you had it and are selling someone else a used item.

Statues and bust are always limited editions. As the most resin garage kits.
The creator or manufacturer produce a specified quantity. Rereleases are rare. Especially for small companies.
I have so many examples here in my little collection which were cheap at the time they were released and i purchased them because too many of them were on the market.
Now after some time the most of them are getting rare and rising in worth.

E.g. a
"Model Kit "Paul Muad'dib" statue from DUNE
Apparently less than 25 were made. The detail is excellent. It comes with a cyskife and signet ring.
More Information: Dune Index
Models - Collectors of Dune
Got it under 50USD and i think i will get my money back when (or if) i decide to sell.....:D

And it depends on how good they are made.
E.g. Gentle Giant Star Wars Bust and statues are not really accurate and many of them are on the market and this reflects the price they are traded after the official release.
Blitzway statues are the best you can buy and the rising prices after they getting rare are reflecting this.
This is a start up company and if they getting on with releasing awesome staues they will become a place
in the community (if they not still have....:)...)
It's up to you but IMHO its very risky to wait if this figure ist available beyond the retail price on the market.....

btw

The Monroe figure may have more fans than a fantasy figure for fantasy figure collectors.............
Am i wrong....?

Exactly! :)

Just cause their site says Sold Out doesn't mean anything.
Blitzway originally sold out of the Game of Death Bruce Lee and that was actually Numbered.
It sold out so fast that they just went ahead and printed an entire another run of those even though it was Numbered.
Their site just said due to the popularity of the Statue and because so many people complained they missed out, they just put on their site that they were available for Pre-Order again. Of course those Sold Out too but there were people that ended up paying a premium for the initial run and basically they just said I don't care that this was a Numbered Limited Edition, demand called for more and we're gonna make more! They have already shown if it sells they will print more.

both the lee statues had no number.the PO's had the choice of engraving with the GOD.and han's bladed hand with the ETD.no issue number anywhere.

what are you on about do you even know

I don't care how many they make, as long as they keep making more actresses from the golden age... Audrey Hepburn in her 20's would be awesome !!!!
