Another trick to help cig’s stick....

Roll the end of the cig along some sticky tape (duct tape works well).

A little tape stickiness helps it stay in place.

Love these guys. There are a few obvious flaws, but overall its an incredible set that is really a dream come true to have on the shelf.

So Im watching this on tv and I was thinking about comments that I remember reading about how Slimer is too small.
In the hotel scene there is a really good side shot of him drinking wine. So I tool that picture and then scaled it based on the size of a standard wine bottle. I have Slimer in that shot coming in at about 20" tall which scales to 3 3/8" tall for the figure.
What is this guy coming in at?
That would have been a smaller puppet/over sized bottle because Slimer is a little over 3' tall. Should be about 6.5" tall in 1/6 scale....and the butt cheeks are missing! More than likely, when over lapping the Slimer footage in the movie, the characters size was diminished. 6.5" would seem kinda big; as we're so use to how small he was in the cartoon (Orko sized). Not to mention some of the toys making the little green spud more around 2 feet tall proportionately. I have a great reference photo with one of the puppets placed over the performer with their arms as Slimers..but this site has an error message coming up every time I try to upload the pic.

Ray looks incredible! Great pics. It’s a shame Venkman doesn’t quite match his level, although he probably looks better in hand.
Egon looks great too.

Congrats to everyone who is finally getting these in hand. The pics are fantastic. Keep them coming. Truly my figures of the year.

Was anyone's figures shipped out via USPS Priority from Timewalker Toys? For some reason mine was, instead of UPS. I'm just wondering because my post office mail carrier does not attempt delivery if they see a signature is required. I work 3rd, so I'm always home - and they won't even get out of their car to come to my door. The tracking info isn't showing a signature requirement, and Steve hasn't replied back to me when I asked him about this. So I'm just hoping to god no signature BS was put on it....cause with my schedule, who knows when I'll get the damn thing. I'll have to go without sleep and patrol around the neighborhood until I see them and do an ambush to get my package!

Check your spam folder, my emails from them got put in the junk mail.

Are you on hotmail?
I get them in the junk folder too. I brought it up to Margaret and she's looking into a solution.

Slimer on film was made to be smaller than the puppets and the suit worn by Wilson.

He would only be 6.5" if he was meant to be a 1/6 version of the behind the scenes prop.
Ahhh..so I was partially right with my assumption. Well all be damned..Blitzway got it right then! lol - it would have been nice if that 1/1 scale Slimer that recently came out was made in the smaller movie scale; so then I'd be able to afford it.

Well the movie shows him that size. Puppet size doesn't matter.

Tom Day's pics have me a lot more excited to receive my Venkman, even if I still feels like it's a bland expression and middling likeness. The paint just looks so stunningly good in his pics and the outfit looks just crazy-good.:clap

In looking at more pics of Winston, it seems like maybe the thing that feels off (other than the slightly wonky paint) is classic facial proportions - that the distances from eye center line to the top of the head (minus hair) and to the bottom of the chin is supposed to be the same, whereas on the figure, the top half of Winston's head seems noticeably smaller than the lower half.

And it's especially obvious because all the other guys are the opposite - peaked-up hair styles making the top half of their head a bit fuller/taller.

Has anyone's Timewalker orders been sent out USPS Priority? I'm just trying to find out if a signature requirement was put on those - as my mail carrier doesn't attempt delivery on signature required packages. Tracking info doesn't show if it was put on it.

Mine should be as it's going to a post office box but it has not shipped yet. The last email i got from them said ALL GB will require a signature.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I know several emails have said that. I was chatting back and forth with Steve, but haven't gotten a reply yet to the USPS dilemma. It's scheduled to be here Tuesday, but I can't figure out how to see if a signature is required. USPS tracking information use to tell you that. Well, if it's on there then I won't be getting mine lol. With my schedule, I can't make it to the post office during business hours. Ah..I wish it was shipped out UPS/FedEx; they actually come to the door if a signature is required. Damn, I wish there was something like a UPS My Choice account with the post office so I could wave the signature online.

Does anyone know where I can get a Ray for a good price? Any help would be highly appreciated. I only ordered Venkman, but after seeing Stantz..they're freakin amazing! Best sculpt out of the bunch for sure.
