Not sure if u are familiar with PF statues but its exactly like one of them. Its all polystone then at the end of the arm there is a square hole cut out with a magnet inside.

nope no idea with PF stuff.i only collect bruce/Brandon.so I take it inside the peg there's a magnet, then that connects to the one inside the hollowed out arm one.
you can just make out a dark circle inside the peg on the vid.i assume that's the magnet.

At 9:10 in that video u see the forearm with the silver round circle (magnet) in the square hole that is cut out. That's how tit looks on the arm as well but there is square shaped peg at the end of the arm that has a square hole cut out of it (like the forearm) that also has around circular silver magnet. The square shaped hole of the forearm covers the square shaped peg on the arm and inside both magnets of the forearm and arm are attracted to each other and then the forearm sticks to the arm. I hope that helps. :)

So finally had some time to open this thing today.....holly shhhh....this thing is on another level of quality! There is NOTHING in my collection anywhere near this level of detail and quality. I am honestly blown away by this piece in every sense. How they managed to make this for only $600 is beyond me. I honestly can't stop looking at it, I'm at a loss for words guys.

Small little issue though, the tip of his finger I found broken off inside the box when I opened it :( . Already emailed secret compass to see if they have replacements. The finger that broke is the one that puts pressure on the nunchuck to hold it in place. So unfortunately I only have one display option right now. Didn't have time to make a video review today, but I did take some cool pics. Video review to come tomorrow hopefully.

The finger next to the thumb on that arm snapped off on mine when the arm fell off. Popcultcha have asked me to return the statue, and I should get a replacement.

Atheris and Cht469, congratulations on getting an awesome statue ! They should replace that arm with the broken finger/thumb - but no reason to return the whole statue, the arm should be enough to send back for a replacement !

Let us know how it goes, and best of luck :)

Popcultcha have asked me to send the whole statue back, so that will be done today. I prefer to get a whole new statue since I had three issues with the original one (dodgy loose edge on the base, finger snapping off, nunchucks not sticking to the armpit).

Oh... You have been extra unlucky Cht469. I can understand why you have to send back the whole thing. I hope this goes well smoothly without too many hassles.

I hope they are going to refund your costs to return it.really unlucky there.

Agree ! If they sent you a defect statue they should pay for the return cost you have, and the 2nd. shipment back to you again ! Plus make sure to tell them that they check everything before sending you the replacement statue (and the arm with no broken fingers for the other guy in here)....

Popcultcha don't refund u or anything it is just a direct swap. U send the item back and u pay no shipping because they give u special label that you print out to put on the box and u just hand in the item all boxed up to the post office and leave it there to be shipped off. Once they receive your product then they ship you the replacement.

That's a good idea and I know for a fact that the store cht469 bought it from (Popcultcha) are happy to do that because I once asked them to do the same for me.

By the way guys, I saw on Facebook that someone had taken the track suit off, and the body looks really nice under it. How ever from what I remember it need some extra work like filling the gap between the different pieces, plus need some extra paint work for details I think...

Bruce never took it off to show his upper physique in the actual "Game of Death" footage he shot - at least of what has been discovered so far - but there are behind the scenes photos of him having the top of the suit wrapped around him (as many of you already know). How ever I am pretty sure he would also in this movie show his perfect symmetrical upper body ;)

at least its a free swap so to speak, and no return costs from the buyer.
great pic gungfu,I'd agree about bruce going topless in GOD.maybe prior to wearing the catsuit, but with his physique he would show it as in the rest of his movies.

Bummer to here a few people have gotten broken ones ...always disheartening to open up the box and see that! Hope it gets resolved soon!

Secret compass got back to me today saying they can switch out the broken hand, no need to send back the entire statue. So that's good news.

Chris

Yeah there are no costs for me to return the statue. They sent me a return label. I'd asked my parents to drop it off at the post office as I'm at work all day. I told them to get a receipt, but my parents said Aus Post told them that we didn't need one as it was being returned. Is this the case? So fingers cross it doesn't get lost!

Thanks for the advice I will make sure to ask Popcultcha to check the replacement statue for any defects.

Wow that is really good they allowed u to do it that. Not only is it a pain in the *** to take this huge box to the post office it's also unnecessary when only one part of your statue is broken and can easily be replaced physically. Still surprized they allowed u to do that since they are a store and not a distributor, so I guess they will be keeping one statue with a broken arm in their store because I doubt they would send that piece back to blitzway for a replacement.:dunno
