as blitzway have done another run of these,perhaps they made extra arms just to cover any breakages that may happen?
as you said far easier to return an arm than the whole statue.

Secret compass got back to me today saying they can switch out the broken hand, no need to send back the entire statue. So that's good news.

Yeah there are no costs for me to return the statue. They sent me a return label. I'd asked my parents to drop it off at the post office as I'm at work all day. I told them to get a receipt, but my parents said Aus Post told them that we didn't need one as it was being returned. Is this the case? So fingers cross it doesn't get lost!

Thanks for the advice I will make sure to ask Popcultcha to check the replacement statue for any defects.

I am glad to see that things seems to work out for you guys without too much hassles or any cost !

Having a defect statue/figure, etc. is NOT an option in my opinion as you are supposed to enjoy looking at this works of art, and it is all about details and the good feeling it is to own one or many. Plus not to forget that this an EXPENSIVE hobby/passion...

They should as problems always occur which most of us have experienced ourselves and from other collectors. How ever I must stress out that when something like this happens, it is important to give the other end a chance to clear this up first - and not go too crazy and emotionally overboard... It does not have to be a bad experience. Just give it a little time and make sure to react to it right away (do not wait as it only becomes harder).

it shows there are some good retailers out there.2 have contacted me saying stock will arrive on Monday and Thursday,yet my seller has gone very quiet.
although the statues ordered were waiting for pickup from blitzway a week ago...no communication at all..so PO is getting canceled.over to plan B now.

Always go local if u can Chris, I really hope it does arrive in the UK next week like they told u. So I take it u will never order from this seller again? BTW have u decided what store you will pick this up from?

actually toy heros in Italy contacted me out of the blue,they are an official blitzway store and even told me the shipping time and the courier they would use.
the other was one in belguim which I just contacted on the off chance.regarding my original seller.....no future orders from me!!,apparently it's the shipping costs now.i wouldn't mind but I no doubt could have had this many weeks ago if I hadn't been messed around by him.
UK deliveries are 20-24 april (estimated) but I have no worries picking this up from toy heros steve.

Hmm why is that? Have u ordered from them before? I know someone that has ordered their Blitzway statue through them. When I look up Blitzway statue on there, the page is blank, but I don't think by any means are they are shady store. However, since they are abroad will they lower the value of the item so u don't get charged custom fees? BTW was the Belgium store called lacitedesnuages?

I purchased some 1/6 stuff from Roberto's(toy heros) ebay store (statue is more on ebay LOL)and came pretty quick 3-4 days(same as time for the statue).

Yeah my friend ordered his last year through Toy heroes and they kept telling him next month and so far he hasn't got it. I don't think it is their fault though as many stores don't have it yet but it looks like lacitedesnuages does according to their webpage and I can vouch for them as I have bought stuff before from them before. However, 599 Euros is a lot of money, how much did Toy Heroes tell u it would cost shipped?

523 euros and that's via paypal(4% cheaper with a bank transfer) steve.and he did say last week stock would arrive 4-7 april,and confirmed that stock is in on mon 7th starts shipping tue 8th.i'd go paypal it's more safer.

523 (shipped) is a hell of a lot cheaper than 599, actually it is 611.90 (shipped) from lacitedesnuages, so yeah I think you are making the right decision to stick with Toy Heroes u want to get this as cheap as possible.

i'd go paypal it's more safer.

This would be perfect without the switch out hand. Having a visible joint makes it look cheaper.

First of all it's not a switch out hand and it is a switch out arm. Next what are you taking about? Don't u know that the sleeves cover the arms, so there are no visible joints on the statue.

don't follow what your saying,joint cant be seen under the sleeve of the suit.and it give the choice of better poses.so I'd take this over a fixed arm.
also my favourite 1/4 bruce lee statue the HD1002 has visible joints on the elbow,and has never bothered me.

yup you sure did..not as yet steve but I can pay Monday when it arrives,it could come a bit sooner,but I think i'll pay today then it's done,and the payment will be cleared so bruce can go straight out.

So u plan on having this opened up and checked out first to make sure it isn't damaged or have other problems?

Yeah I don't blame u, he is a pretty good seller than for wrapping the shipping box in bubble wrap. I think BBTS did the same?
