if bruce was still with us,who's gonna be the one to call him midget:lol
I'm 5'8''....so I'm tiny:wink1:...no I'm not Asian either:lol

ha well I'm exaggerating a little for fun but 5'7" to me is EXTREMELY short (I'm 6'3" and my wife is slightly taller than Bruce)
But yeah, I was just meaning in context of statue sizing scale ....if you keep up with Sideshow's PF line, you'll have noticed they are moving to much larger, much taller bases recently and more and more of their 1/4 line is coming in around 70cm ....which is the same size as the GoD and new EtD statue !

Yeah I thought you must of been about 6'4 if u considered 5'7 a midget.

I don't own any Bruce Lee statues/figues. The closest I came was the Hot Toys DX but never pulled the trigger. These two efforts from Blitzway are on a different level. I really like the look of the GOD statue, the yellow tracksuit, the addition of the nunchaku and the wooden base looks fantastic. But ETD is the iconic look for me. This statue looks bang on, the body sculpt and proportions of Lee's chest and arms at this period. The lightness of feet is captured just right.

With so much exposed flesh the paint job will make or break it. One flat skin tone will move it into doll territory. Lets hope Blitzway are able to keep the production pieces as faithful to the proto as possible.

Hmm not sure what you mean by that as Hot Toys and EB doll sculpts are the ones with the best paint jobs. It's sideshow statues that often have one flat skin tone, but the other Blitzway statue did have one flat skin tone, yet still looked better than Sideshow's ones.

the paint job on the 1/4 EB statues were fine, the 1003 was the poorest but that doesn't look like a doll.
by the way kareem was 7'2'' lot of good that did him against bruce:rotfl

Yeah I was referencing others comments about the flat skin tone on the GOD statue's arms and that considering the ETD has the whole upper torso exposed, an unshaded paint job could become a lot more of an issue. It's still the best face and body sculpt I've seen on a Bruce figure. A decent paint job on the skin tones will make it outstanding.

yeah the arms could have been done better on the GOD.but it doesn't take away it's still a great statue(the body under the catsuit was just painted rough-ish)
so this full torso needs to be perfect.

I do not think etd blitzway is less than god, but I think the god succeeded better (at least until now, from the pictures shown), the god I think it was better cared for in detail. Then the face of god is not deformed; face seems to be warped to the expression that is different from etd.

huh? :lol

haha I didn't realize I was being controversial :D
He is a hero of mine, I'm one of the main posters (and buyers) in any Lee thread ....man was a giant, metaphorically ....just not literally :D

For sure man, its one of the things that really sold me. I hope it comes out looking amazing too bro

Me too bro :hi5: This'll be my one and only Brucey collectible so it needs to be killer and I'm so happy it's being made by Blitzway as I don't think Sideshow could've pulled off the paint apps plus if it was Enterbay it would be a figure rather than a statue and I'd rather have no noticeable articulated joints on view for my Brucey ;)

It is not my fault you are a midget :gah:
