its james from immortal cases.unfourtunatly he cant ship abroad due to the costs of packing and shipping and safety as these are glass cases.

I know this is not the right thread but since the other thread is pretty much dead, I thought I would post the GOD statue with repainted eyes looking sideways.





It looks amazing!

it does give the sculpt more expression.but how is he standing the hole for the footpeg is visible? and is it me or is the torso and the legs more bent at an angle
the torso on mine is pretty upright,but in that photo it's leaning slightly forward and to the right,as if bent at the waist?head looks higher also not looking down-ish.and legs further apart???
oh here's my 3 foot custom border for my new case....should I decide to use it..

No I thought the same thing, it looks like he modded the body to.

as I have headroom of about 4'' I did the border (well wifey helped) 3''. not really to scale due to the size of the statue,but I think will make a nice addition to the mirrors on the back and side.
a couple of quick pics with the GOD in the case.not great quality as it's not easy with 2 mirrored sides.but you get the idea of the ''panel'' look.

cheers andy.was nice to meet james,really nice guy.told him to expect some orders for more mirrored dios/cases.looks so much better than my pics,but really hard to get a good shot.i'll try the border by just tacking it see how it looks.

I can't see Blitzway sending you an invoice if you ordered through BBTS?

Honestly, I like the original better.
The eyes repainted look okay but the body mod looks so awkward ...almost like he's about to start twerking

That's very weird ... where I've ordered from actually required deposit, which I've paid, so I think mine is a double up.

I know ikea make a couple of detolfs/cabinets for this and the GOD.the klingsbro and fabrikor,the latter is the smaller but more expensive

Yeah i use primarily Klingsbos but I also have one detolf. The only reason I wanted something else is because of size and the fact that there are a few pieces that just won't work, e.g. Apocalypse PF/Wonder Woman PF

Yeah I agree I probably should of cropped that picture, so you could just see the head like I have in the image below.




So just looking at the head I would have to disagree about liking the original better, the eyes looking sideways has given life to the statue and also better likeness to IMO.
