Congratz whats your thoughts on this piece inhand .

impressed with blitzway's art box.the statue no seam or lean issue,so that's great,an honest opinion is.
headsculpt great likeness(I think GOD is a tad more realistic) but the expression may have something to do with that.
body sculpt..i agree it does ''pop'' more inhand,the downside is I think he's a tad too light overall.there's some subtle shading/colours in it but not tanned enough(for me anyway)
the sweat is poorly done I can see blitzway's idea but not executed well,more blobs and runs than a''natural'' type sweat.
cuts.....I've covered that subject and I'm not changing my view on it
the base is very nice and BIG!! bigger than GOD.and han's blades have a heavy base also.
overall I'm happy that I got him,he will display great with GOD and it IS a very nice statue.is it the best BL to date...well yes in some aspects it is,had a little more care/effort gone into the finish and accuracy this would without doubt be No1.
both of blitzway's statues have their plus/minus points but overall I'd put them on par,but GOD is I think better value.
this is just my opinion and personal preference.....I wont bore you with lots of crap pics,but I will show him in his new home

Both Very closely matched. Not like when we saw the initial inhand pics shocker . . Yup do that mate. Show us pics of Brucey in his new home .

this is a ***** to photo in a mirrored case in sunlight..i may wait until later as I have direct sunlight through my window at the moment.

Liking your back drop . Looks like you have multiplies ETD in the room too . Yup is really bad for taking pics of glass cases during the day.
But it's showing up very nice. Buddy. Congrats on your nice display.

Congrats Chris, very happy for you bud! I'm glad you're happy with it Looks much better in person huh? Your display looks fantastic as well interestingly, when I set up mine like yours in terms of feet placement on the base, he looks fairly straight also. When I set it up smack bang in the middle though, he leans to the left slightly.

thanks mate,yes better in person no argument on that.wish he was a tad darker though(that's only my take on it though)not really messed about with him yet I just checked seam.fine then plonked him through the hole in the base(center piece still in) and that's it really.
regarding the sweat,i see what you mean about the light making a difference,i'm gonna try and tone mine down,not all the face will be difficult.the cuts mm had blitzway left the sweat off and just given the torso a light sheen,then this would look even better.
all in all I'm happy I did get him,if he could be posed and look like your photo's then I would have no hesitation in saying awesome,but it's still a great display piece along with GOD..

I agree about the skin tone, a slightly darker shade would have looked better, but I still think it looks nice as is. The rest is what it is, stuff we've talked about before lol. I think most can be corrected to some degree thankfully.

Haha sorry if my photos were somewhat misleading. He is still really nice in person. Unfortunately I'm not really satisfied with my replacement piece, so I'm gonna see if PC will exchange again.

If you're referring to the storm collectables statue, then I agree. Looks like Bruce has hit some gear!

I didn't mean that they were misleading in any way mate,just your lighting etc gave it more oomph so to speak and that if that were an everyday display then whoooo
if your not happy send him back,roberto kindly checked my seam for me.but regarding the lean,i moved mine around a bit and he stayed straight,dunno if pushing the peg straight through made any difference?but if yours leans then contact them

Be interested in how the storm head sculpt will look. Think it,ll prob be a statue seeing its a tense up power pose. Be interesting to see .

it looks to be a take on bruce's LATT spread from WOTD,but it's far to bulky for that....but interesting as you say.
