Statue BLITZWAY- Enter the Dragon- Bruce Lee Tribute 1/3 scale Statue Ver. 2 spec

yeah SAB.ive seen some bad leans with these,mine are still as good as when 1st bought 4/5 years ago.the GOD indeed overshadows any other BL figure.and no doubt this will indeed look nice with it.it maybe me but I'm not feeling the 'walking feet' on this as much as the proto..like I said maybe it's me.

I've had a look at the photos and videos and it looks good to me.
We still have an 'off balance' pose where the back foot is raised at the heel and the front leg is crossed over with the foot partly off the ground.
It definitely satisfies my wish to have a statue that looks like it is in motion rather than feet flat to the floor and spaced to provide an evenly weighted balance.
To each their own though

Might be cuz most of the proto shots are taken with the base at eye level, makes the feet stand out. Most all the in hand shots so far are of the torso and the base for the most part has been in the shadows and/or the pics are taken with the top of the base exposed which I think takes a little away from the stepping action.

I think it'll be pretty awesome in hand, specially after I get some mirrors up around him

I try to take this photo from the parallel perspective for the fair measurement.

The ETD base is 1.8cm higher

And overall ETD is almost 6cm higher

IMO,dont know why may be cause of my bias with my fav ETD film.i think the ETD pose is brilliant.it might look steady fo4 someone but you can imagine that what next movememt bruce gonna do ,a fast signature right punch or lean a bit and ready for the right sidekick or just jeet kune do footsteps.
If you are bruce fan i think this is great pieace eventhough its not reach that proto quality but it still a must have for me.

Thanks for the pics 30cm! I think it looks great, personally. Height difference is pretty staggering though! Dunno if just the photo, but Bruce looks bigger overall on the ETD statue.

Strange that the statue is almost 6cm bigger if the base is only approx 2cm higher.
Not sure if the scale is slightly out on one or its all due to the pose difference.
The EtD one definitely looks like his posture is 'taller' while the GoD one has a bend at both knees and ever so slightly at the waist.


More and more I think this will be the definitive Bruce for me.

Yeah, it does have that appearance of being bigger. I'd say it is just the photo though.
The base is making the bulk of the height difference but there will also be a slight difference in the fact the feet are raised on the ETD too.
But yeah, overall, you wouldn't think there would be such a difference in height.

Is the ETD base wider than the GOD base or are they the same width?

oh great "30cm" !!! Thanks for the comparison and the measures .. this statue of ETD is incredible. I like it more and more. For me best Bruce ever made

thanks 30CM.and thanks blitzway for screwing my case measurements up!!27''due to having a 5''H base by their stats.whereas the GOD was supposedly 28''with a 6''H base..this is nearer 29''.the base on this is supposedly 13''W/D.and GOD is 14''W 15''D.

wont affect you guys,just me and my display,measured the GOD,and with the base I get him 26.5'' so he's shorter
and ETD (stated shorter)looks taller by 2-ish inches..i know it's the 70's era but cant see bruce wearing platforms in this

I had HD-1002 for years and sold it off when buying the Blitzway GoD statue. I don't regret doing so.
For a start, the HD-1002 & 3 can have bad lean problems developing over time because the legs with pegs were PVC and bend over time.

Yeah I am not saying it is better, I am just saying so far most people outside this board it seems, prefer the paint job to this one. Not saying they are right though.

But other than that, there is no real comparison.
When you take photos of things everything seems the same scale ....and yes, Hot Toys clearly are head and shoulders above everyone when doing that.
But in hand, scale matters. The Blitzway GoD statue blows everything away, including all the Enterbay Bruce Lee pieces.

Yes I agree with that statement because the overall piece looks better, but when the scale is larger the head sculpt is more noticeable and if if it doesn't have a realistic paint job, it quite frankly looks more like a giant plastic toy than a shrunken down life like human being. This statue will look it's best from a certain distance, whereas EB and Hot Toys figures look their best from close up. But yeah the only thing good about EB's and Hot Toys head sculpts are their paint jobs, at the end of the day they don't have presence that statues have because to quote Shoo, the pose doesn't look natural on dolls as it does on statues.

This new one will be the same.
And I actually prefer this unique pose, especially the 'walking feet'

Yeah so do I, despite that it is not iconic, its scene specific.

The elite creatures Reaper . It really is a stunning piece in all aspects especially the paint work.

Oh yeah that thing is amazing, definitely one of CM's best pieces as it ought to be for the price!

Hmm I know you said not to judge but in your first set of pics the statue looked very pale and with little to no color at all, whereas it actually looks fine here. However, since this is apparently translucent resin I am guessing they applied no base coat to this but used the flesh colored resin as a base color and just added some tones to it like they did with the PVC head sculpt?

It was never off, I was just on the fence, because I was scared it would just look like a giant toy. But now I am leaning towards this again, ironically due to 30 cm's poor quality pics. Anyway I don't expect perfection just something that looks realistic like the HD1002 did and not toy like . However, look at the sculpt here in these close up pics, it is obvious that it is a plastic toy, despite how good the likeness is.





The Iris's look like decals to, whereas the GOD one looked like it had glass eyes (even though it didn't).

Unfortunately that is not an option for me, so I can only go by pics and videos and so far (apart from 30 cms poor quality pics), the color looks very plain on this with little to no shading.

It's just speculation but they look like decals, maybe 30 cm can confirm this. It's not like decals are a bad thing but it makes the sculpt look even less realistic.

Since it was a birthday gift you should of bought yours from an Asian store so you would have it now!
