Blitzway Star Wars license

I had contacted a UK statue retailer who sells Blitzway products and they said they hoped to stock these and would let me know once they knew for sure. Had a message today saying "Anakin and Obi-Wan are only licenced for sale in Japan" so they cannot get them.

If the above is correct think I will have to stick to Hot Toys!

Hope it's not correct... I'd would be a missed opportunity not selling this outside Japan, specially because they're going to go for crazy prices on Ebay.

This would also mean that not even Specfiction can sell them which doesn't make any sense because they're on preview on their website.

What a huge wasted opportunity that would be. I can't imagine a licensed Star Wars product not being available in the US, at a minimum. If not, I'll have to admire these from a far...

Paid the deposit for both the standard Anakin and Kenobi. Too good to pass up and while I'd be fine with BBTS, I don't want to assume they'll get these. Pleasantly surprised at free US shipping!

Congrats, that's going to be a beauty. With the Obi-Wan pairing and the cost, I felt good about the standard versions...

Cool to see them up for pre order overseas. Can imagine the shipping cost from the US to UK considering the weight and size of these would be very high along with any import fees.
Think I will have to stick with Hot Toys.

Comic concepts has them up for PO as well. The regular versions are a bit cheaper at $589 vs Spec’s $609. But, Spec is offering free shipping so it probably works out cheaper from them in the end

Apparently Blitzway only has the license for Japan, so U.S. retailers like BBTS and Sideshow won’t be getting them.

Yea, that’s the price of a JND statue, so definitely agree with the “nah.” As nice as this is, it’s not JND price worthy.

I thought I had convinced myself to go sculpted but something about the rooted is nagging at me to get it maybe it’s b/c I didn’t manage to get Artisan Anakin

That’s definitely a better deal. I can even get $45 off for shipping to the U.K. or $100 off if I take the slow boat option.

That’s just too much for me for an Anakin-especially one that has a large base I really don’t like.
