Boba Fett Customizations/Modifications: Image Thread

Being from a normal SSC body and not an armoured one, a narrow would definitely be ok, as would any TT body I think. I used a slim because Boba has always been really skinny looking to me, other ones are open to looking fine too though most likely. I'd be surprised if a narrow looked bad.

I'm keen on him in the casual pose atm, but the TT slim is capable of good action poses on awkwardly armoured, heavy geared figures

How did you get him to stand like that without a base?
I tried that and he tips over due to the weight of the jet pack!

hey, thanks! Did you change his body? if not, it may be because the hot toys bodies have more secure joints usually. If you did a body port it may be the ankle pegs aren't fully compatible with boba's shoes and might need a slight mod.

Man, that "TT slim" body makes Boba look like he just walked out of the movie. Great idea, and amazing job! Yours will always look better than mine!

thanks, its easy to do once you break the barrier of messing with figures etc. Just wish sideshow's bodies were more like this as default, but they seem awfully proud and unwavering on the ones they use and will continue to use I feel. (already dreading trying to make bossk stand, not that ssc bodies are floppy still, just that his special feet/ankles are prob gonna screw things up lol)

Yes, the feet look rounded at the edges, meaning the amount actually touching the ground could be only 60-70% of that of a regular boot.

That is nuts. I know 1/6 bodies have to make some accommodations for the size, but that forearm is ridiculous. Just look at your own arm, and imagine your hand was where it is on this body.

But given the cost of a slim, and any potential mods to make the body swap, I don't see myself switching over.

any opinions on using a GI Joe Pro body?

Started modding my Fett: cut out plastic, tappered the vest, gave Wookie braids a first water treatment. Tried to curve the ab plate but found it difficult. May give it another go. Long way still to go.....

I think this figure is awesome but not a $175 figure. Albeit he will be taking Medi-Fett's place in my display for sure. Sorry about the mediocre pics.

Does anyone have a good source of were to find a HT TT slim body. I feel that would be the best body to use with boba and for the life of me cant find a decently priced one to save my life.

Any help would be apreciated

I'm also curious about this. I sort of assumed that HT would just sell the bare TT bodies individually for those that wanted them to build customs. Then I checked Toy Anxiety but guessing now these bodies are only to be found by those selling old, parted out figs on e.Bay? Kinda makes picking them up to switch out Pro bodies a bit impractical and expensive. Hoping there's some other way, too.

Michael Jackson's body is going to be really expensive! Look up jack sparrow bodies or sweeney todd bodies on ebay (or any other fairly recent tt slim using figure) and you will probably find one for around £30ish from HK with free shipping (not uncommon). Also UK based site collectablekitbash has some jack sparrow slims in stock still for £30

With patience you won't have to pay a ton, I've got 4 for various figures and each cost around £25-30 (that would still be a lot of dollars though)

edit: damn, looks like those johnny depp characters were released long enough ago for the price to rise - what hot toys character is being released next on a slim? when that happens and they are being parted out, thats a good time to pounce

Ya I have looked into getting body's from figures that use the slim version but they are still asking for more than I want to pay. Guess I will either have to spend the money or just play the waiting game looking for a deal.

edit: Ok apparently got lucky on the interwebs and found this not the best price but for 50$ isn't the worst price for a slim body and it turns out to be the Caucasian one.
