In my opinion the sideshow one just doesnt look complete without the jet pack. It just looks like hes missing somthing. I have the legends in 3d boba fett bust Its about 12 inches tall and is perfect jetpack and all. With a good repaint it would be amazing! A smaller cheaper better looking boba bust. Also the more I look at the SS one it just looks too clean!

Colors look good to me but yeah, the pinch has gotten worse.
I have this on order and I really want it, but they had better fix that damn pinch.

the gap running down the middle of the bucket is not even.
I really don't get why anyone would want this over the MR bucket, but that's just me.

Funny thing is, I was reading over on the RPF about how everybody thought the MR version turned out horribly. I guess it depends on your priorities.

The picture might be a little washed, but the yellow are read seem OK.
This one almost looks gray, and the SS side shows green, I don't see how lighting will cause that much difference.

Some people there are attached to their fanmade stuff, which gets in the way of their objectivity. This recent review, though, puts the MR Fett above all the fanmades: https://www.themppc.com/magpress/boba-fett-helmet-review-series-master-replicas-2/
The MR Fett was digitally scanned from one of the real helmets. The paint is complex and layered. The SSC bust is a big step down in that regard. If you want an accurate helmet first, and can do without the bust part, get the MR.

I was kind of interested in the "pinch" issue so I did a comparison with a shot of the Sideshow bust from Rebelscum's SDCC coverage and one of the actual costume from thedentedhelmet.com. I put a red line at the top of the gap in the middle of the helmet that spanned the width of it exactly. Then I put a copy of the line at the bottom to make it easier to see how much the size of the gap changed. On the original prop, it's almost the same, but there is a huge difference on the Sideshow. Some of this might be attributable to lens distortion (I think the Sideshow bust was photographed from closer up), but certainly not all.

I think SSC is throwing a little Clone Wars cartoon styling into their life-size Fett visor. Hopefully LFL didn't request that. Either way, definitely a deal breaker for such a high end piece.
