I hate to say it Tom, but I let mine cancel as well... hoping to get him off eBay in a month or two. It is very unfortunate that so many people were willing to help you, but have now canceled. I hope it turns up for you.

I haven't read any of the threads about the Boba Fett PF, but has anyone noticed yet that he is made of plastic?






Seriously tho, which Fett is this? The ESB one has green gauntlets with white/gray gloves and the ROTJ one has red gauntlets with brown/black gloves. I can't remember offhand, but would this Fett be the version that appears in ANH SE or an EU Fett?

This is the ROTJ version...as he appeared in the film. Gloves are correct for this version.

I just finished watching the Theatrical ROTJ tonight, and Boba held his gun with his left hand. Also his antena thing was on the left hand side of his helmet.
Dont stone me, but has SS made a big boo boo?.

EDIT: okay, just checked some screen grabs and SS IS correct. Now I am MAJORLY puzzled, because I am certain of what I saw. It was during the scene in Jabba's palace, when Leia first enters I believe. Held the gun with his left hand, and the antena was on his left.

Yeah, blame George Lucas for that one... he actually flipped the frame. I guess he didn't expect fans to be so observant, and certainly didn't take into account the lack of symmetry in Boba's costume.

Lucas didn't direct Return of the Jedi, it was Richard Marquand.

Don't worry, Lucas forgot he didn't direct it too.

Lucas EDITED it, which is when the flipping happened. He's done this "creative flipping" in the prequels as well.

SS Boba is much better than Attakus Boba, IMO...

I'm sure you've seen the Attakus Boba in person? Or perhaps even own it?

got a small query on that attakus statue.

Do you know why the cape is making a 40 degree angle with the vertical coordinate? I can understand that Boba Fett can be in an action pose but the cape shall not make the same angle right

Ah thanks for that. Im not crazy then Why he would flip the frame is beyond me. He needs to restrain himself sometimes.

I can't tell you how bummed I am about my Boba Fett order.... I had it on Flexpay, the only damn way I could afford it. I paid the first payment, assumed I had paid the second one... and last week I got an email saying he was cancelled....

I emailed SSC, and it turns out that they had attempted to charge my card for the second payment and it failed.... They said they tried to email me and never got a response. I don't remember ever getting that email... and I thought that the second charge came out too.... so needless to say I was pretty upset by it all...

So now, no Fett... and I can't get it on FlexPay, so probably will never have one.... Freakin sucks. But I guess that's what I get for being too damn busy and not managing my account a little better.

Did you get a refund yet? I would say take that and keep an eye on ebay. You probally will get a good deal.

Make sure the emails aren't going to your spam folder, get on the waitlist and then try and cajole them to count your flexpay payment to the new order.

By the by, flipping frames for certain scenes is a common practice when editing a film. Sometimes the eye lines don't match, or the editing sequence plays better that way. Most filmmakers figure that moviegoers will never notice. Although nowadays it probably happens less than it did in pre-DVD days.

I remember a similar case like this happened some time ago. That was quite a stir, since the object in question was the Grey Hulk VS if I remember it right... I bet you guys here remember?!
Anyway, don't be upset about your loss. I am sooooooo sure Boba will be up for second chance, and that you get an other shot at it. Just wait. Or try the SSC CS again?

Thanks guys... Yeah, I talked a bit with CS and once I got the funds back into my account things got tight and there was no way I could cover two payments at once, or the entire cost. So I'll probably just try to wheel and deal with someone or just scour the bay for a regular edition. Not too worried about the "Mandalorian Artifact"....
