I can't tell you how bummed I am about my Boba Fett order.... I had it on Flexpay, the only damn way I could afford it. I paid the first payment, assumed I had paid the second one... and last week I got an email saying he was cancelled....

I emailed SSC, and it turns out that they had attempted to charge my card for the second payment and it failed.... They said they tried to email me and never got a response. I don't remember ever getting that email... and I thought that the second charge came out too.... so needless to say I was pretty upset by it all...

So now, no Fett... and I can't get it on FlexPay, so probably will never have one.... Freakin sucks. But I guess that's what I get for being too damn busy and not managing my account a little better.

That sucks, Josh. I'd definitely try to contact Customer Service and see if they'll work with you on this(especially since you're a frequent customer). Hope it all works out in the end.

I had that happen to me once too DA, supposedly my credit card was declined and I was supposedly e-mailed. I don't mean to imply sideshow lied, I don't think that was the case at all. But I do think there was a screw up somewhere because if the e-mail went to my spam folder it would have stayed in my spam folder until I deleted it, plus I check my spam folder every day just to be certain nothing gets sent there by accident. And with my credit card if it was declined i have no clue why. Anyways, I hope this works out for you because Fett is awesome. Maybe you can scrounge up some moola for him by the time a waitlist comes through or a dealer gets some more in...

got a small query on that attakus statue.

Do you know why the cape is making a 40 degree angle with the vertical coordinate? I can understand that Boba Fett can be in an action pose but the cape shall not make the same angle right

Are you sure it's a 40 degrees?? Yes, that's right, seen from the side, the cape hangs a bit strange. Although, you could say that, the cape naturally swings back and forth while he moves, and that the pose was frozen at that exact moment, but it's a feeble explanation, I know. But to be honest, I hadn't noticed that before. Didn't bother me.

Not to prod a dead horse and make him trot around the arena again - but I just got my Fett and I LOVE HIM!

The detail is amazing, it truly represents mixed media in it's truest form. We've never seen a collectible Fett's chest armor with plates on a cloth vest as it was on the real costume.

I can't beleive that people are canceling him - if it weren't for a few people that can't get past knowing what the materials are, no one would have a negative thing to say about him.

SSC should have just kept their mouth shut about the ABS - no one would have said "boo" about it.

OK....if mixed media is cloth and plastic. I don't feel the SW 12" line is mixed media either, because they are just cloth and plastic as well.

I held Boba Plastic and returned him because he simply was not worth $325. I may pick one up down the road for $200 or less.

Well Kit, would you pay more for a 12" polystone, leather and metal figure of say Darth Vader or a 12" plastic figure of Darth Vader? Both are extremely well made, are quality items, and look great.

Again, the statue would be worth $200-$225, but CERTAINLY not $325. By people accepting Boba Plastic at that price, they are setting themselves up for higher prices for items made of less desireable materials. PF may not mean polystone format, but definitely doesn't mean plastic format.

It's going to be funny when you suckers have paid $325 for an item that will be selling for $200 within a couple of months.

Well Kit, that's your opinion. I held off canceling Boba and decided to wait to make my decision to return him until he was in hand. Nice looking piece, crap quality (broken range finder, leg armor that keeps falling, etc.), NOT a mixed media premium format and not worth the price. The weight to price ratio matters to me and many others, even though it may not matter to you. To each his own. I'll upload pictures of my $200 Boba Plastic. And I guarantee it will look, feel, smell and probably fart just like yours minus the heavier cost.
