I have seen a Largo custom at one time that used a Dragon head. I'd love that person to post his custom here again. Might be one way to actually get a Largo going here.

Just to help you out Greg ! The figure used was a Dragon "Dave" with the hair restyled.

Ah-ha! It was YOU! :)

That's the one. Excellent Largo!!! That "Dave" figure really works quite well with the new hair sculpt.

I'm so eager to get a Largo to finish my set with Goldfinger and Blofeld that I may just track this figure down.

Thanks Paul!

That looks great!
I have that head! Somewhere....
I think I used it for my Napoleon...:rotfl
Good, generic head.

Greg, unfortunately I only take credit for re-posting the photos. It was another talented customiser that produced this great figure. I fancied making one myself at one time and kept the pictures for handy reference.

The Dave figure is a hard one to find loose, he is still available as a full boxed figure , but you'd be left with a lot of parts / clothing etc .

I'll keep my ever watchful pair of eyes open for you though !

Red Planet Toys has the "Dave" listed loose for about $6.

Figured I'd put this here rather than start a Moore thread or something. Just a conversion of the Moonraker JAWS I did last night.

Original JAWS..................................................JAWS from "Spy Who Loved Me":

I always preferred the blue jacket, gray pants outfit for this 'water' villain. My NEW Jaws still needs some futzing.

Thanks to Paul Carson for the SS Jaws, and the wonderful 'arm-surgery' conversion he did to eliminate the monkey arms. :rock

Awesome Jaws man! THAT is how I remember him! Great work as always...:duff

Thanks Josh!

One last "futz" -- I decided to cut the original Jaws hands off their extended forearms and add them to the pegs Paul Carson supplied. I got Jaws from Paul and he had replaced the monkey-armed forearms for a more accurate lengthed forearm. Although it's a slight difference, the original Jaws hands are just bigger and thicker and seem to make him more... Jaws-like with the open groping grip.

Final JAWS futzed and posed:

Great Jaws!!!

EXCELLENT JAWS Greg ! I'm glad that you like him, you've certainly improved upon the original. I like what you did with the hands, they have the right look. The arm length is definately better, I was a bit concerned that you wouldn't like the mods that I had made, but now having seen it I can breathe a sigh of relief !

So, who are you gonna do next ? ;)

Actually, I did keep your modified forearms. I simply cut off the original hands from the all-too-long forearms and attached them to the wrist pegs that you modified. This way, Jaws now has wrist articulation for his larger hands. So your modification was very useful, not only to shorten the arms but also to give Jaws wrist movement with his big ol' hands.

:D

As to the next Bond character... it all depends on this thread. I desperately want to have LARGO in my collection. But no dice yet. I've been working on a Bond in space suit from "You Only Live Twice" for years but just haven't found the right parts. Also, now with towering Jaws, I have a hankering to make a little Nick Nack in black coat-and-tails and derby... but the outfit at that size is proving impossible and there is no headsculpt that can be used.

Thanks Greg ! :D

I'll keep your idea for Nick Nack in mind, you never know what you may come across ...

I'd love to see a Bond with a space suit, you only live twice is one of my favourite movies ! I'd love a scaled little nellie too !

Bit of useless trivia here, did you know that in the beginning of "you only live twice " when the first american space capsule is captured, one of the astronauts was played by an actor called ...

nah, you'll have to search for the answer !

( clue : I have a lot in common with this actor ! )

Thanks Greg ! I thought I had killed the thread there !

I'd love to see some more , I think Spenser would sculpt a killer Largo ! And with your talents too, we'd have a fantastic collaboration and another great figure for your collection!
