Thanks Greg ! I thought I had killed the thread there !

I'd love to see some more , I think Spenser would sculpt a killer Largo ! And with your talents too, we'd have a fantastic collaboration and another great figure for your collection!

Thanks, Paul!

But you and I, and a few stragglers here, seem to be the only ones keeping Bond alive. :lol I think Spenser might get more excited if there was more support.

Should we start a chant!

LARGO -- LARGO -- LARGO!

Well, it worked for Indy... :)

I thought Steven WAS doing a Largo, didn't he say it was his fave Bond Villain?

Anyway, voicing support, been doing more of my share of chanting lately with the Writers strike and all, so, here goes...

LARGO! LARGO! LARGO! :D

Sorry! My wife wanted to watch MST3K allllll night long.

Plus I knocked his nose clean off moving him and it took me a while to resculpt it. now it's almost all done, but I'll post a pic soon.

Ok... sneak peak progress shot to shut Wor-Gar up. :lol

Looking good, Spenser! At last, LARGO! I can't wait to get this one!

One question: I know this has been mentioned before (Pjam et al) but is there any chance of getting a sculpt sans molded eyepatch?

Personally, I have a real eyepatch I plan to use for this figure, as I know a few others will do the same. I don't really care what's sculpted under the patch -- always imagined Largo just had an empty eye socket anyway. If you couldn't do that, Spenser, what about removing the patch strap across the head.

Let's hear your thoughts on this, Spenser. I hate to suggest changes, but I figured this would be something a few of us would want to know.

And of course thanks for the sneaky sneak! :)

I agree about the patch. No need for it. I have one too.
Might make it easier to sculpt? :dunno

well...if you look at the picture again carefully you can see the patch is sort of already on there. So "easier to sculpt?" it's kind of too late for that. :rotfl

I'll just remove the strap and make the patch a little smaller. However here are a few things to consider from accuracy stand point; the strap is covered by his hair on the sides and back. And the patch and strap are very tight to his face causing his skin to rise a bit on ether side of the strap on his forehead and his cheek. I can leave theses areas raised as they are sculpted and you guys can follow the “strap valley” with your patches strap or I can take them away altogether. I'm here to make you guys happy.

That is a valid point, Spenser. Hmm... Has me thinking now.

Originally, I always thought of the patch as I would a hat or bandana type piece; wanting it removable. But a real eyepatch will wrap around the head and over the hair as you say and make the hair look sculpted.

I'd like to see what some others hear think about the best way to do this. Les? Pjam? Paulcarson? 2000man? Anyone?

If we do go with real patch, then I'm thinking maybe your solution of leaving the "valley" for the strap to follow across the forehead would be the best idea.

Ultimately, it's your call Spenser. You're kindly offering up your Largo. I'll happily take whatever you think is best.
