Just finished it.

The final boss wasn't that hard, maybe because i did every side mission and levelled up so much it just took time to wear him down :dunno.

Enjoyed the final boss fight though awesome design.

Killing Jack was a bit too anti-climactic though, it would've been better imo if you had to straight away after in a QTE aiming at his head with him pleading and then a slow motion exploding of his head or something because as i ran around to check the loot he just stood there waiting and one shot then it was over.

And the ending leaves it open for Borderlands 2 and 3 and 4 and 5... :lol

All I have to say is True Vault Hunter mode sucks big fat donkey balls

It's not bad. if you really like the game, I'd recommend doing all the story missions first and not accepting any side quests. Once you finish story mode the second time, you'll unlock 2.5 mode. Everything will scale to lvl 50. Including all the loot. I love being a lvl 50 bada$$ with lvl 50 legendary gear.

Why? do you find it too hard? Just curios - I look at it as true co-op mode; need a buddy to take em all down

Yup, pretty much. I'm not much of a co-op guy, honestly.

Being lvl40 and getting taken out by a lvl 37 Rabid Skag is lame.

I like the game mostly just because of the world, it's humorous, and it's fun to shoot stuff. But, being a 'collector' that mindset applies to video games as well, so I feel like I have to collect everything in a game, too. So, I end up trying to do everything, when it's plainly beyond my skill level.

I hear ya - playing Halo 4 and find myself going to Legendary mode for no real reason other than to get the achievement....I play Borderlands for the same reason you do - only difference, I dig the co-op - as long as the people with you are cool

first time I played vault hunter mode I was surprised at how much harder it was

Is there anyone out there looking for a new co op partner? I love co op games ever since I was a kid. And I love the fact that this generation has so many co op games. Problem is there is a ridiculous amount of a$$ holes you run into. Even though ive played randomly, im dnt do it to often. I have a level 50 aston, and a level 37 gaige. Ive been really into this game lately and would love to play more co op

I just got this app for my phone, that will send you a notification each time a new Shift Code is released. I assume that it follows all the Gearbox associated people on Twitter, Facebook, etc, and aggregates them. . . . most of the codes don't expire, so I've gotten 26 codes since last night. Randy Pitchford just tweeted a code for 5 keys this morning.

How are people doing with getting legendary (orange) items?

The drop rate is horrible on this game compared to Borderlands 1!

Not great. I haven't been actively seeking them out though. I got a Storm Front grenade a while ago that was absolutely devastating, but it's just now starting to be not as devastating. :(

I got Sledge's Shotgun on a previous playthrough, but I hardly ever use shotguns, so I didn't really care about it.

I'm just now trying to learn about all the secrets, tweaks, loot farming and skill building and all that stuff now

Any updates on the release of the NECA figures? It's been ages since we saw them, they were originally listed as an Autumn 2012 release but there have been no updates since.

The player characters are "on hold" and I doubt the Bandit variants will ever be released. Claptrap sold out, but the Bandit is pegwarming.

The Blue Claptrap variant is coming out this month and who knows what other colors we'll see. So I hope your looking forward to more Claptraps. :monkey5

Whoa, may I ask where you came upon that info? I mean, that's really, really, really disappointing as I was looking forward to them all
