I am not a fan of this line, only reason i am tempted to get this piece is because Boromir is my favorite character.

i am just waiting for some rewards pending points to come through after the wait period, but do we have a idea how many pieces are left.

I was wrong. Boromir was not the first item to sell through, it was the infantry battle droid exclusive today. But that was quite a fair price for essentially two 1/6 figures with an exclusive.

Gonna run off and see if Boromir at least has the low quantity bar...

Boromir in PF would be one i would consider but would have to be quite excellent to better this piece.

Oops, my bad. I was going by the little pre-order links in blue by each product and only stumbled across that the Droids exclusive has waitlisted.

I was wondering when this SDCC would get into gear, and thinking the economy must really be bad...

That is good news. I'm just surprised the Low Quantity Bar conspiracy theorists haven't jumped all over this as being part SS's insidious plan to trick us into buying this maquette.....

True enough. Even with NDR's there's always going to be some cancellations, though I think the mass cancellations of the past are just that...a thing of the past.

Thank goodness. That goes for any line from SS because high es were not helping the hobby at all when people could just order and cancel without any thought at all.

Right TBD wasn't great. SS did that though because so many folks complained about missing items. Therefore they went that route to allow more folks to get items. NRD kind of save the collector from themselves.

I think the fact you have to pay some money upfront for a pre-order is a big reason this is not yet sold out.
Myself, i'm not sure whether to order or not, so i'm waiting until it sells out to place a waitlist order so i don't have to pay the fee just yet, thinking that surely this will come up as a second-chance offering. Does that make sense?

Makes some sense if you simply don't want to pay the deposit, which can be for a very good reason. But, not if you 100% want to have the piece. I think for me, each exclusive will have to be ordered on day one from here on out. Technically, since Legolas really. Decided to join with Gandalf, and only had to wait about a month for my conversion with Aragorn. Now, this is my primary focus line. I will pick and choose very select statues from other lines. But the LOTR maquette line is for me, so long as they retain the quality we have seen thus far.

And that quality is well on display with Boromir.

Personally, I think you should order this one now, FE.
