If you get off making ignorant comments, that's your business. I won't be responding to your remarks any longer. I hope things get better for you.

I must admit...im a bit confused by your seeming disdain towards me. I'm a big fan of the Bowen Hulkbuster Iron Man. I simply don't understand the battle damage variant angle.

Second...I don't understand why you make the assumption that things are not going well for me? Not every negative opinion means a person has deeper and dark issues.

He's always making the same comments about Bowen stuff, then covers his tracks by saying he is a fan of them or is making a 'joke' :lol. get used to it Al, that is the reason I dont even bother to post up new announcements here, i leave it up to anyone else.

Yes...I am quite the consumate Bowen basher! Which is exactly why I recently purchesed 3 Bowen pieces in rapid succession and put a third on pre-order.

LOL. I'd say HS has spent over a grand on Bowen stuff. Could you elaborate at which arbitrary dollar amount you need to spend before you can express your opinion about Bowen releases on a message board?

It would have cooler to have this in an action pose to face off against the BD Smackdown Hulk.

Whoa, you just gave me a picture in my head. SS next dio... HB and Hulk. Hulk a bit bloody n battered and the HB battle damaged, tiny pieces on the floor/base.

I for one have no interest in battle damage. IMO, unless its in diorama format, it just looks like you got a damaged statue. Especially with something like Iron Man where there is no flesh...just burned/bent/smashed "metal".

I actually like it because it's a bit different. Just about evry statue released the super hero or villian looks like his tights were just picked up from the cleaners or his his metal, _fill in the blank_ was just made. I like the look like the individual has been doing something rather than just standing around posing.

Big fans are usually the harshest critics. Ive got 7 shelves of Bowens FS and busts and I'm not afraid to say that this is an overpriced, sad excuse for a Collector Club Ex. Go to other forums where Bowen Fanbois are at their brown-nosing best and you will see the reception on this piece is very poor.

The 300 plus shipping price tag dont help. And when you come to a hardcore Sideshow fan dominated forum you are basically inviting people to compare this Bowen Scale piece to a Uruk-Hai Beserker PF in the same price range.

So tell me you can put those two side by side and hold it against someone when they crack jokes on an overpriced repainted Hulkbuster. I sincerely hope the next phase can do better than this. I wont be renewing my CC in any case.

Im not disputing that this is over priced but honestly where else are you going to get a hulkbuster on your shelf from? You guys are acting like this thing is going to be small...this thing will very well be near the size of most PFs...the only reason imo it is over priced is because you can't apply the CC discount to it. other than that, i think it is fair given the size and detail and relative low edition size.

And his comments go far beyond the hulkbuster. maybe try not to comment if you don't know what the issue is.

Last time I checked the thread was named Bowen Battle Damaged Hulkbuster which is exactly what I commented on.

You really think a 75 dollar markup for a variant is fair? Now would you go so far as to say Randy Bowen is actually doing his subscription paying Collector Club a favor by marking it up 75 bucks and offering it to us? Cause man I feel honored.

I think FQRizzo was right. If this statue were in a fighting pose to be paired up with the hulk the battle damage would be awesome!

I will wait for the Sideshow version. Comparing prices I would rather spend my $300 on the Diablo Overthrown dio. This Bowen piece is very nice but really I would be happy with the regular version.
