There is a very good chance that this will be carried by SideShow, just like a lot of other bowen stuff.

I love my Sideshow pieces, but SS will NEVER approach the selection that Bowen offers. Bowen makes comic statues that are extremely 'comic' accurate. BDs newer pieces are just killer, and he truly is taking his company to the next level of COMIC statues by making some truly unique FS statues with unique poses. (See the new FS Medusa)

That said, BD will probably never do something as intricate as say, the Ghost Rider Maquettes, but then again, he's not trying to. He's making statues for the fans of comics, and has been, LONG before Sideshow.

Let me know when Sideshow releases the Scorpion and Kraven PFs or Comiquettes (10 years from now)...

EDIT: Make that 20 years from now, assuming they don't lose their license in the next year. How many Comiquettes have they released lately (aside from the seperate AH line)?

I was surprised to see Bowen bashing here. I love both companies, as they're both supplying different products. Bowen makes amazing stand-alone character pieces and Sideshow produces awesome dioramas.

My suggestion for my fellow forum members: give Bowen the recognition he deserves rather than bash his work so harshly. Bowen knows how to cater to the fans better than any other company on the market. 'nuff said.

well said both of you guys. It was actually just ONE person who said bowen was trying to rip off sideshow wasnt it? In any case, Ive just gotten into bowen stuff and they are absolutely amazing. I never gave them a second look before because I never saw one in person, and pictures just didnt do these statues any justice. The paint is amazingly vibrant, and the sculpting is top notch. when you see them in person it's like they leaped right out of the comics. Sure the SS wolverine is badass but that is NOT a true representation of wolverine from the comics. same goes for the rest of the SS marvel line. But the SS line is still indeed very badass in its own right and its own scale.

I just got the bowen green hulk today. Opened him up and it's a masterpiece! I missed my sideshow one when I had to sell it, but this bowen one makes up for it completely!

Abomination looks pretty cool. I know little about the character but the look is pretty sweet and so is that Hulk statue.

Congrats Nash! Awesome score, That's definitely one of my favorite statues - I love everything about it, and it sports the best Hulk head sculpt IMO. Don't have one myself yet though... I was actually about to buy one at a LCS, and when the clerk brought it down to show me, he only grabbed it by the Hulk and dropped the base

Needless to say, it broke and I passed -
