Flynn to me is still very much a child. He is still in that child like mentality. the naive comments you make proves this.
He might be an teenager as far as age goes, but in his heart he is still pretty much a kid. That's why he lives in a fairy tale, because he is not mature enough to understand how reality works. He still has that child like innocence.
I think part of it is how his parents shield him from anything bad. Walter has an answer and an excuse for everything, and Skyler tries to hide the ugly truths from him.

I am curious to see the next episode and to see how this has affected him in the long run.

A question I have about that poisoning. Brock has no idea that ricin came from Walt, so why the hostility? Why does Brock look at Walt as if he knows it was Walt that poisoned him :dunno

Yep, Brock looked up at Walt like WTF are you doing here? :lol

I thought Saul did it with some chocolate or something? I don't know why.....
I guess it is because I remember when Saul went to visit them or something?

Nah. It was all Walt. The only thing Saul did was have Huel take the ricin cigarette to make Jesse think it was his fault.

But when did Walt have any interaction with Brock? Saul was the one that kept visiting Brock and his mom, the one that kept stopping by.

I don't remember any scenes where Walt was close to Brock before.

Because he probably saw him poison him. :lol....Vince suggested the idea he had was Walt poisoned his juice box and delivered to him in his school some how. Maybe he gave it to them, maybe he saw him....but it's implied he knows. Or at least can tell how nasty Walt is.

Also... he didn't poison him with ricin. Twas Lily of the Valley.

:slap yes sorry it was Lily of the Valley.

I just assumed that Huell did the poisoning. I didn't expect Walt to do something that was so close to home at the time :dunno

He sat down beside Brock on the couch one time, I think at Jesse's house. He also passed Brock when he was at Andrea's house.

i know people have been going back and forth abouth Walt being evil evil and Jesse being moral evil but ill make the argument right now that none of the stuff thats going on would have happen if not for Jesse trying to kill those two drug dealers and forcing Walt to save him. i believe that was turning point in the whole series. that was when Walt decided that he would do anything to protect everyone he cares about by whatever means necessary. that moment was the beginning of every chaotic moment that followed

Jesse also lost it when Todd shot that kid in the bike, and Walt was not sad about it or anything.
But how was that Walt's fault? I understand shooting a kid was awful, but I dont get why Jesse put all the blame on Walt.

Walt might be heartless, but he didn't do that.

yes but none of them would be there needing to highjack a train for methylamine. Walt and Jesse would still be making meth in the nice lab at the laundry place. i could even see Gus and Walt being best friends and not the enemies they became

Yes I honestly can see Walt and Gus becoming best friends if it wasn't for Jesse.
I could see Walt living in peace with his family. I could see Gus still being alive with his family.
Mike would still be alive if it wasn't for Jesse.

Jesse ruined Gus, Mike's and Walt's lives by trying to go after those two guys.
Jesse ruined everything from that moment on.

that was after walt killed the two guys though. If walt did the deal alone with gus and didnt bring Jesse in, i dont think Gus would have tried to kill Walt

I never cared for Jesse. I mean I really felt bad that he was so broken when Jane died but that's it. My philosophy is "you reap what you sow" both Walt and Jesse are finding that out now .

He's a villain. He's a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad man. The worst kind of human. Sure. He's got depth, and he's got motive. But just because he loves his family, doesn't make up for what he's done. And all the lives he's ruined.

****...I guess i'll use dumb Batman....Two Face in TDK was a villain. Despite you understanding everything he's done. He's still a incredibly bad dude.

Yet Walt still cares enough to push His family away from him to keep them safe. A villian wouldn't care enough to do that.

YES, walt's a bad guy. But he's not a villian.

A Villian would have KILLED skyler for attacking him with the knife, AS WELL AS walt Jr. Family or no

A villian would have KEPT Holly.

I'm not arguing that he is a good guy, but there is a line between being a "bad guy" and "Despicable villian"

Walt is getting aful close to that line.
