Wouldn't doctors be able to help Lydia if they knew it was ricin?
Nope, not with a dose that big. The Russian guy that was assassinated w/ricin by the KGB (Walt referenced him when telling Jesse about the poison's effectiveness) only got a dose about the size of the head of a pin. Just eyeballing it but looks like Lydia's dose would be about 8 or more times that. Wish they'd shown her in even worse shape, though.

Overall, great ending with a nice surprise vis-à-vis the Schwartz's.

I agree totally. Hollywood is bloated.
I don't think there will be a story as great as BrBa for a long time. Sure -TWD and GOT are good and both are entertaining, but they never had me on the edge of my sofa screaming at the tv. :lol

I sure hope "Better Call Saul" is as good.

This was an excellent show, but not on the level of GoT IMO. GoT is king right now.

Watched the entire series on netflix in a span of two months. Turns out the only episode I watched the night it actually aired was the series finale. Great show and I am kicking myself for not watching it sooner. Then again I didn't have to wait week to week to watch the next episode. Great show

GoT is great, but I feel BB has another level of sophistication through its shots, imagery, sound... all the small details that really makes it feel like the creators were very passionate and wanted to create "art" for tv.

Like most of the fans of the show, I'm pleased with the ending.

I vividly remember the commercials for this show before it aired and thinking wow that's a messed up premise for a show but said hey, why not, Malcom's dad is great and they showed a clip with him running around in his underwear and figured I'd give it a shot because it looked like a different type show than the norm.

I dvr'd it so I didn't watch it live but I looked at the time and when I knew the finale was over I felt sad....I can't remember any show I felt that way about out of all the tv shows I've watched and loved over the years. It was tough hitting play to start the final show because I knew that this was it....it is over.

Now all I have it TWD and I'm glad it doesn't start for a few weeks so I can forgot at least a little bit of how awesome the BB writing was and just enjoy the popcorn show feel of TWD writing in comparison.

What do you mean he's wrong? Art is subjective. If he didn't like it, then he didn't like it, he's not wrong. I thought it was perfect, but that's my OPINION....god I hate fanboys :lol

It's KINDA growing on me, I guess I didn't like it since it was a safe ending. I hated the Sopranos ending at first but now I really love it since it was not exactly open ended if you read between the lines.

Exactly what I did. I was dying to see the final episode, but at the same time I didn't want to start watching it because I knew it would be the last time I'd ever see the show.

Not me. Still one of my Top 5 TV shows of all-time and one that, like BB, ended on the perfect note. :)

I loved the ending of The Shield... possibly more tragic than BB. I need to watch the BB finale again to form my opinion...seemed too neatly wrapped up

actually the premise is what got me to watch it in the first place.

I remember seeing the trailer and being interested by the premise of the show.
Then I remember watching the first episode, but it didn't amaze me or anything so I stopped watching for the next two year or so.

then around season 3 I started to catch up with the first two seasons.

I was aware of the premise but didn't give it a chance until earlier in the year and I went through all five seasons in preparation of the last season. Definitely one of the most unique premises in TV.

It's funny, I remember the very last scene o the sopranos with the Journey song, but I don't remember the story line, or what happened in the last season...I mean nothing...that can't be good. Maybe that's because in the end Tony was the same character, nothing really changed. On the other hand, I don't think I'll forget BB ending, not just because of the M 60 machine gun scene, ..:lol but because of WW transformation and his rise and fall.

I'll give you that, Sopranos storylines started getting watered down towards the end, all I remember is that season 6 there was a war with NY and NJ.
