I checked SirSteve's Guide this morning, and the original source hasn't scanned his copy yet. Hopefully, he wasn't dissuaded by my crappy pic circulating. I would've gladly done it myself, but I didn't have the money to pick up a copy yesterday. Sounds stupid (not enough $$ for a magazine??), but my wife and I are still rebounding from my job transition plus unexpected car repairs (which cost $$ and made me miss time from work). Sucks too because it's a Sith-centered issue this time around. I'll definitely be picking up a copy on Thursday (payday), but I'm sure someone will have the scans by them. If not, I'll do it then.

Nah, it seems the kid is fine. Here's a site that details some of the situation and even has an interview with the kid after the fact. It sounds like his parents tried to sue somebody but they didn't get anywhere with that.

If I'm not mistaken, SUBSCRIBERS usually start receiving issues of SWI in the mail several days (or as much as a week or 2) before they start showing up on most newsstands.

Yes yes... Well typically SUBSCRIBERS to the SS newsletter also get previews before anyone else. However, there has been a breach in that protocol that I would like to see exploited, see?

The SWI picture looks like plastic -- much like Ani's glove -- but the scan is pretty fuzzy. I'd be very pleased if they did real pleather gloves, but I think its unlikely.
