Hopefully I get mine in the mail ASAP then. I'll make sure to get as good a scan as possible.

If I'm not mistaken, SUBSCRIBERS usually start receiving issues of SWI in the mail several days (or as much as a week or 2) before they start showing up on most newsstands.
I haven't received mine, yet. I'm surprised no one, either here or another forum, hasn't found another copy so we can see a better photo. I wonder what kind of preview we'll get in Thursdays newsletter. Will it be the typical preview or a full blown ad like in SWI?

I'd be disappointed if its not AT LEAST as much as was shown in the magazine.

Or we can have patience like Master Yoda wants and wait till thursday night.

I think some people have too much of a burning desire to be "first!!!!!!11111 omg!!!!"

I am. Internet access will be nil for me starting Thursday.

Is it possible for you to phone in your order for Maul? I was able to get the Non-Attendee Anakin that way... and you can usually get calling cards fairly inexpensively in other countries (I think you said you'd be out of the country).

Remember Thursday we'll only get to see Maul's right elbow (or maybe a repeat of his bottom half?). I'm sure the gloves will be sculpted hands just like they are on every other figure. Can't see them changing that now.

That is a good idea, thanks! Except I can't guarantee getting a calling card. I asked my friend if he'd preorder it for me, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Other than that, I just have to do what I can.

Good luck with that. :(

Thanks, I'll need it. Bad timing too, Darth Maul is one of my most desired Sideshow figures. Oh well. I'm sure if I try hard enough I can work around it.
Anyways, I'm still extremely excited we'll be getting a Maul.

I'm sure due to the "inclusive" nature of this release even if you had to get it on ebay it wouldn't break the bank.

I just received a mint in box regular edition Jedi Luke that I won on ebay for $49.95 + $10.00 shipping. So I imagine its only a matter of time before you get your Maul at a respectable price.

Maul in full robes.. is my dream figure!! :maul :D :D :chew

On a side note... obscure figs like Kit fisto with go up in price while the most wanted figs like Maul and Boba will be inclusive and everyone will have them! YAY!

just picked up STAR WARS INSIDER #88 at a local comic shop (they got it in today with the weekly shipment of new comics).

Even in the magazine itself, it's not a great photo. Though I CAN tell that the head sculpt is a good likeness of Ray Park.

Oh, and the probe droid base in the picture is definitely not the actual/final one, because it's not even a "Star Wars" base... it's the generic "Sideshow Collectibles" one.

Here we go!

Thanks to Darth Knuckle over at RS

I showed it to a friend of mine and he asked why his left eye is lazy and drooping a little... LOL:rotfl

Looks great but why are his eyes looking up??
They're NOT. It's the scan. It's also not the greatest quality photo... even when you're looking at the magazine itself.

No worries.
