I prefer Maul to Vader actually...Vader is obviously the iconic villain, but Maul just looks so perfectly evil--plus you kinda feel sorry for Vader, but Maul? You just feel sorry for any poor fool who gets on the guy's hit list.

So let me get this straight. Maul will have an "inclusive" exclusive accessory/version. The probe droid will also have an "inclusive" exclusive accessory/version. The droids are not the "inclusive" exclusive but mearly an add on? Maul can be ordered sepeately and likewise for the droids?

Thats what I gather my fellow Utahn. :D

That is correct.

Body tatoos or pass.

Also, he needs some soiled undies too, cause you know he dropped a load when Kenobi made him plural.

Kenobi skewls Maul.

Bwahahaha - I just fell off my chair. (can someone help me up?)

Nice, figure looks great.

Should we start a thread/contest for who can guess the ES?

I say ....... 10K :maul

Back when I thought there would be a 48 hour preorder window, I was thinking 10k. Now, it's anybody's guess...

I am very happy that the major characters from here on out will be accessible to everybody. This is a good move--the top ten most wanted figures should be ones that are (relatively) easy to get. Yes, an edition of 1750 Mauls would be worth a ton on eBay, but an edition of 10k means that more people can get into the line and secure a highly desired figure.

(I still think that the same 2000 people will be ordering, just not all at once. We might end up surprised if the number doesn't go as high as we predict.)

Is it posible that the regular edition will have a smaller edition size and actually be more valuable? Thats still my only concern.

Q: Will you continue to offer a Regular Edition for those products with an Inclusive Edition?

A: There may still be a quantity-limited Regular Edition, which will differ slightly in accessories, clothing, or other variations, offered at SideshowCollectibles.com and through other retailers. This will be determined on a per-product basis.

Unfortunately this doesn't help quell my concern...

Exactly right Tom. This will allow many who want Maul, Vader, Fett, Clones (most likely), etc. from the SW Line and I'm sure a few from the LOTR line to get them without having to worry about the flippers of the world.

Let's compare:

For once I don't think we'll have the usual "His face is too... " comments.

I prefer the SS version to the GL version. :D

DARTH MAUL ROCKS :chew

He just looks a little "sleepy" but I am fairly certain it is the pixilation in the pic. :monkey3

Doubtful - regardless of the number of "inclusives" they will come with the additional accessories. And its not the edition size that's important so much as how many are bought by non-collectors that determines the secondary price IMHO - collectors don't like to dispose of figures.

true, but it is nice to know that your collectible is worth something. hence the reason i still dont like the "inclusive" idea too much.
