So that magazine wasn't supposed to be sold until Saturday. That would have been after the Thursday night newsletter. Looks like our surprise got spoiled! But I'm sure there will still be something exciting in the newsletter...

Personally, I'm crossing my fingers that SSC will import the Hot Toys Batman from Batman Begins...now that HT's site has changed the edition size from 800 to TBD.

I hope that Maul is a go for pre-order Friday!!! now with the "inclusive" ordering system, no reason to get us all worked up in a fervor for a week with preview pics, just jump right to the main event!!! :maul

It would be cool if we got Maul this week and a preview for next week too! Orders placing now though would likely show up after the 1st of the year!

Oh that would be nice. And funny too... I do behavioral health field work in the public schools, and this Friday is the end of the school year...half day of work. This time, I'd definitely be home for the PPO frenzy, and now it doesn't matter!!!

Eh, I'm much happier with the inclusive ordering system anyways, so yeah let's bring it on for this Friday!!!

He looks good from what you can see in that pic. Its hard to tell just how cool it will look but he looks like the coolest SW 12" so far. I won't be displaying him with the robe as the pose I want to go with doesn't use it. I also like the stand for the probe droids. Spoiled or not I can't wait to see SS newsletter and some better pics with it. Maul as you all know is my fave and I've been bitching about it for months literally. I'm glad he is coming and I hope he comes before the end of the year.

Yeah, I was pleased to hear that as well. I thought for sure it'd be $54.99 because of the amount of cloth used in the costume and because of the numerous lightsabers we'll likely get (although I suppose that wouldn't impact the price too much because they're all the same saber hilt).

I'll probably use a similar pose except moving the hand to hold the saber at an angle. Plus, I'll put the robes on him but have them look as though the wind is blowing them back. I haven't decided on whether or not I'll raise the hood. Mind you, I'm picturing this on my conception of what this desert display base will look like.

Eh not bad, everyone knew he was going to be next. The accessory pack is nice, but a pass for me. I don't have a need for little probes sitting on a stand.
